Patch 1.13.6 and Naxxramas Release Dates

Do you guys even look at calendars anymore? Both Shadowlands and Naxx dropping at the time of the year when most people stop playing for the holidays? Just drop Naxx Jan 3rd and give people a month to do Shadowlands. This is so stupid.

Iā€™m very excited. I only got to play the 80 version of Naxx, and it was a lot of fun.

I donā€™t think you get it. Theyā€™ve been following vanilla like release schedule since phase 2. December 3rd is early comparing it to a vanilla like release schedule. It should be mid January. So yeah itā€™s about 6 weeks early. Why are they deciding to deviate now?

And on top of that itā€™s releasing in December which means a lot of guilds are either going to be raiding while they should be spending time with family or guilds are going to be forced to cancel raids very early in the phase which nobody wants to have to do.

Theyā€™re probably not going to change their minds and the Dec 3rd release will probably stick. But it should really release sometime shortly after January 5th.

Im seeing conflicting information on different forums, are you sure the invasion was actually released prior to naxx release ? So say it did, some say it did not. Do you have an actual source?

Most of these kids dont understand that. They are just waiting for TBC and want Classic to be rushed.

I am excited to get back to TBC too but I can wait.
Iā€™d like the opportunity to clear a few more AQ before we switch to all Naxx, all the time.

ā€œKotick said the company needs to hire more than 2,000 people to meet its production demandsā€

This is so stupid. People work during the holidays. A lot. I dont think the major demo for classic is high school kids. Its people who played 15 years ago.

This patch needs to be pushed to Jan 1. So people can actually enjoy it.

This definitely seems like this is coming out too soon. While we of course want Naxx, doing it this close to both shadowlands and the holidays seems a little nonsensical. A lot of guilds, my own included, are still ironing out AQ40 content and getting geared from it.

Nobody is forcing you to raid over the holidays. Lotā€™s of people will have lots of time to raid. This is all very generalized.

Weā€™re blowing through the 15 year old content as expected, which is probably why the earlier release. I think of naxx release like an early Christmas present

Money money money

Just not true. Go look up any log on warcraftlogs for any server on dates that guilds downed Cā€™thun for the first time. You can see a lot of progression guilds that took weeks, months to kill Cā€™thun later on.

I was under the impression a lot of people want to stay in classic indefinitely.

Also, have we even gotten official word from Blizzard? Then weā€™d need an open and closed beta.

Way too soon and to close to the release of shadowlands. Please wait till 2021.

This is extremely bad timing. Anyone interested in playing both releases is going to be forced to choose one or the other, or be annoyed when they have to leave one game to log onto the other. I know plenty of folks who were planning on playing shadowlands in the meantime. Some of them just wont play one or the other now. This will be bad for both games. Why would you compete with your own expansion with your own game?

The timing of this release along with Shadowlands is horrible for those of us who enjoy both versions of the game. I was really hoping these releases would be staggered a bit more.

WAY too soon and Iā€™ve cleared aq40 numerous times since it came out, what are you guys thinking? Actually destroying classic to try and get people to play a poor excuse of an expansion in Shadowlands? Horrible timing. Smh, why am I never surprised by this company.

Letā€™s be realā€¦ thatā€™s more than enough time for everyone to get bored of Shadowlands.

Way too soon Blizzard. AQ just dropped a few weeks ago for some servers

One fourth of our roster isnā€™t going to be around because of Holidays, Finals, and Shadowlands. Probably more. I can only imagine how every other guild is going to do when Naxx releases proper, and just how little membership theyā€™ll have by then.
