Dang. Pretty short AQ window.
Too soon, Executus!
Weāre only a couple weeks into gearing up our raiders with AQ gear, this seems premature.
is it true that Black Lotus are going BoP???
Wasnāt the AQ gate opening started on July 28, 2020? I mean, itās time to move onā¦
I have been looking forward to Naxx for all of classic, so very disappointing to see it released not just before the holidays, but also overlapping with the release of Shadowlands.
This is an epic blunder.
AQ just opened on our server 6 weeks ago.
No there wasnāt. Dates of the 1.11 Patch and world first Naxx kills say otherwise.
Proof? Cause you are just talking out of your a$$ or spreading lies about this.
Classic Timeline
8/26/2019 - Launch (Molten Core/Ony)
10/15/2019 -Phase 2 - Honor (50 days from Phase 1)
12/10/2019 -Phase 2.5 - AV/WSG (106 days from Phase 1)
02/12/2020 -Phase 3 - BWL (120 day from Phase 2 -170 days for MC Prog)
03/10/2020 -Phase 3.5 - AB (27 days from Phase 3)
04/15/2020 -Phase 4 - ZG/World Boss (63 days from Phase 3)
07/28/2020 -Phase 5 - AQ (105 days from Phase 4 -168 days for BWL Prog)
12/03/2020 -Phase 6 - Naxx (129 day from Phase 5 - 129 days of AQ Prog)
Allowing 129 days to clear AQ40, and that isnāt counting the lost time to the war effort, is not good enough, IMO. Reconsider this dogsh!t move.

LOL, yeah cannot wait for Naxx. Bring it. We are already basically not needing much of anything from AQ40 anymore. Just a handful of the super rare drops are needed now and most stuff is going to offspec and āfor funā builds.
LESSGO!
Sorry, we just donāt need super long gaps between raids in this era where we are fully clearing stuff like Cāthun in week 1ā¦ Besides, Naxx will probably be live for a longer than usual time before TBC is released. So people will have all the time they need to ācatch upā assuming they care about what other guilds are doingā¦
uh yeah July 28, 2020 like I mentioned, thanks for the confirmation?
Iām indifferent about the decision but Iām actually surprised by it. Blizzard usually makes decisions based on profit but this is terrible from a money perspective. I was probably going to buy SL to bridge the gap between now and naxx, but with naxx releasing just a week after thereās no chance Iām buying SL.
immediately after Shadowlands and weeks before Christmas?
This is way too fast and released at arguably the worst possible time. Yikes.
I donāt even understand what youāre trying to say. Yes I would like more than a week of playing SL before switching to Classic and running new Classic content. I donāt see why the raid canāt come out in January
Sounds like you understand completely, my point is that a week/month wonāt make a difference.

Going on this, they will release TBC on March 17, 2021 which is the average time between phases since launch. That isnāt enough time in Naxx. We will need at least as much time in Naxx as we had in MC before pivoting to TBC. This is extremely rushed.
This is Awesome. I see a lot of comments saying slow down or too soon. NOT SOON ENOUGH. Being that everyone is getting burnt out quickly, we need to move into BC asap. Thereās just not enough content to keep people occupied and engaged.
It does to me, so I guess we will just have to agree to disagree
Delaying Naxx Patch till January would probably be best.
Jan release would allow Classic players to enjoy the Patch more since itās after Christmas Holiday.
This would also let Classic players be able to give Shadowlands a try without sacrificing Classic character progression.
