Party Sync Failed

“Party Sync failed to start because a party member is on a Class Trial.”

Attempting to Recruit a Friend and help my fiancé start playing WoW for the first time ever. I want to help him out on my druid, but when we try to party sync, we receive the above error message.

We completed Exile’s Reach on our two brand new characters, and neither of us is on a class trial.

Any ideas on how to fix the issue or what we can do to resolve?

The error you get while still on Exile’s Reach calls it a class trial for some reason, but it should only be because you haven’t completed Exile’s Reach.

Just to be sure, you have completed Exile’s Reach completely? Both of you have completed the quest “An End to Beginnings”?

This is correct. We even did the starter quests in Org as well. Got to the start of BfA quests.

Have you both completely logged out of the game?

Sure have!

Hmm, can you give me the character name of your recruit? I can poke around and see if anything stands out.

Daetratix - Emerald Dream. It appears to have worked after I flew him out of Org. It asked him if he wanted to end the trial. He had to accept that. Seems a bit odd, imo.

Ah. I think there is an NPC that runs up to new characters when they come from Exile’s Reach that you need to interact with. Perhaps they hadn’t done that and leaving town was a means of getting past that step.

Sorry for the confusion, Catakins, glad it seems to be working for you two now.

We did the Cork Fizlepop questline as well. So we completed everything that had to do with Exile’s Reach.

I am having the same issue. My wife and I are both on Azeroth, but we’re unable to sync due to Class Trial
