Parsing in Classic is a problem because it divides the community

Our raid lead just calls for DPS to slow or stop if it looks like the heart is about to die.

Do not ever make me look at that person’s face ever again.

What are you talking about?

The youtube vid

Don’t click on the thread and video then.

It does when the players logs are NOT a reflection of their raid experience.

It’s your fault.

LOL
You’re insufferable too.

Why wouldnt you like Simon? He seems like a good guy. Sounds like a personal problem. Not the OP’s.

It’s actually a youtuber’s opinion.

We can’t agree with a Youtuber?

If I wanted to interact with a youtuber, I’d go to youtube.

Feel free to leave this thread then. I’m sure there are other threads more to your liking.

And go where? Youtube? Do they have forums there with text?

Min/maxing raid success and personal dps are not always the same thing. And sometimes they diverge radically.

Or you could just go to another thread in the WotLK forums with a different topic.

Show me on the doll where Simon touched you.

Better to deal with it here before it spreads to other threads.

Deal with what?

first of all , if your guildies have become your friends, no one will care about your parses, especially if you do mechanics , staying alive and clearing content. saying this , it’s not bad to have a metric to compare people. the main case is to have a good comparison tool. that’s were logs come in. my main issue is that wcl creators pick and choose what they want to implement in their system and what counts. also, logs might be punishing to new players because usually the “good” players log and compare results, tending to tip the parsing balance and new players have a big mountain to climb.
