Pandaren are never going to get story relevance are we

We just exist. I really wish blizzard would do some more lore expansion on pandaren

Literally had an entire expansion dedicated to them :eyes:

Yes and what have we done since then

Count yourself lucky.
Do you want to end up like the Night Elves, Forsaken and Orcs do you?

I wish Pandaren get some new development soon. Their situation is so sad. Let’s head back to Pandaria if only for a moment, and get some updates about the Hozen and Jinyu while we’re at it

Nobody cares about the Tushui or Huojin.

And that’s a huge problem make them a special OPS force for horde and alliance. Idk just do something with them

1 day maybe they should make a continent that is where the pandas come from and we can go there on a expansion 1 day im hopeing

While I also would love to see them do something there, I know that we as a community are pretty ruthless, and in the wake of covid, I can understand some hesitancy around telling stories steeped in asian stereotypes and fantasy tropes.

We did go back to Pandaria in Legion mostly because it was where the monk class got two of their artifacts and a good chunk of their questline was centered.

We also saw the Valley of Eternal Sorrow changed back into the Valley of Eternal Blossom and dealt with N’zoth forces there.

Yeah, and that’s a good thing. WoW’s storytelling is almost always awful. The Pandaren are fine as they are now: crystallized in MOP, the last and possibly only good expac WoW has ever had. Have you seen the story lately? Do you think NE fans like the “story relevance” they have?

The best thing that can happen to your favorite race is for Blizzard to ignore it. Whenever someone gets the spotlight they get smashed face-first into the dirt. If Blizzard focused on the pandaren they’d probably kill of Aysa and Ji and then blow up the Wandering Isle.

Nomi the ‘cook’ in Legion. Burning everything you gave him to ashes. Meat, eggs, fish. All consumed by the flames. The beautiful, licking tongues of fire.

We all know who really burned down Teldressil.

You had more than most races who aren’t orcs, humans, or night elves get.

Every Worgen just glanced over

They have lost two homes, and both in a way that “we can’t go back at all”

They have just been fur covered night elves despite all they could have done with how similar gilneas and kul tiras is. Or how they were against the og alliance. Or where a human kingdom at all.

Not even to mention how Genn is really the only gilnean that does anything

And the Monk Order Hall was on the Wandering Isle itself.

Definitely an improvement on being in Light Hope’s basement.

I’m waiting for the day a conspiracy theorist shoots up Light’s Hope because of what’s going on in the basement.

Being ignored is the best way not to get ruined. Take it from a dwarf.

Try opening the basement door when leveling non-paladin characters are in the Inn, watch them run down there and just get teleported out.

I don’t want Pandaren to get the spotlight too much (partly because of what happened to Forsaken and Night Elves and partly because I dont want to hear people whining) but I do wish we saw a bit more Pandaren out in the world.

I remember in the lead up to WoD the Shado-Pan were supposed to have a camp, stuff like that would be great.

Thats why he needs to be succeeded by Tess and Lorna (who need to both be worgen… c’mon. Human Gilneans arent good for racial identity.)
