So for those that intend to level a panda, will you be speedrunning it to endgame, or will you take the npc’s advice and “slow down”.
Also, do we have anyone that is leveling a non monk panda? And if so what are you leveling? The shaman looks a bit interesting, especially if you’re not as fond of the space goats. (forgive me I can’t spell that name for the life of me).
But I’m sure we have some other classes right? “Skill with a weapon is but a physical manifestation of one’s martial strength”
Speed leveling, I intend to finish out the tier in prepatch as Brewmaster so I’ve gotta get leveled and geared up in time for raid
I still maintain that female Pandaren make literally every single class look good. The designers nailed their animations, and I particularly loved the fist weapon from Throne of Thunder for my Enhancement Shaman back in the day

I agree. I’m pretty stuck on monk, but shaman does sound like a lot of fun as well. Especially with the thunder king vibes and everything.
Nah it’ll be fine. I got to Pandaria on Windwalker in 4 days back in the original, having fully enchanted heirlooms and a much quicker dungeon queue as Brewmaster on top of joyous journeys will cut that down to no time at all

Ha, im sure Joyous Journeys will help but rn im trying to level a DK as tank / DPS queues and its an absolute slog right now in the 60s. Tons of 15-20 min queues.

Monks also get an extra xp increase baked into the class quests, which I’m sure will help them.
Dungeons will absolutely start popping off during prepatch, as a lot of people will be returning and even leveling new characters with mop right around the corner.
Guard is wildly overpowered at low levels, Brewmasters are basically able to solo dungeons already so having the instant queue on top of not really being bogged down by slow dps is going to make things quick
I know that… i mean my DK can basically solo these TBC dungeons too…
but queues would be nice to pop…
Anyone even still playing Cata now is probably waiting for JJ, and most everyone else is just waiting for prepatch
I agree, but not in the way you mean this. Of course aesthetics being subjective, maybe one day I’ll come around. I couldn’t bring myself to play Orc or Troll prior to Classic, so we’ll see.
I’m still deciding on whether to try a monk or not, so maybe I’ll give it a go.
No harm in trying it, and if the class isn’t to your liking than it just isn’t for you. I know some people that love the monk, but dislike pandaran, so they play another race. I’ve also seen people that like the panda’s but prefer to play warrior or something else.

I can’t do panda, I’ve just never liked the race. I will be levelling a monk though, maybe troll if I go horde, or gnome on alliance.

It’s really whichever you think looks better in tmog. No use having a character if you don’t care for how they look, or how they are animated.
I personally really like the eastern look of the pandaran, but I know that a lot of people have mixed feelings on that.
As far as player power than the panda’s do get the sweet food buff, but blood elves get that aoe silence that is very helpful especially in things like pvp.
You don’t like panda…but you like gnome…
All jokes aside I’m sure you’ll do good with either, just as long as your server is good for your faction.
