Paladins needs some kind of leap

It feels odd that paladins can’t jump into the fray when every other melee job has something like that. Give paladins some mobility. We only have a horse that we can occasionally jump on.
Yrel’s Avenging wrath in HotS is a great example.

Death Knight is rhe only job that should be slow, because they drag you to them and their kits are made of CC.

I think lack of mobility is a fair weakness for our class. We have a lot of strengths. Divine Steed is pretty Paladin-like.

DK’s say hi…

I agree Divine Steed is great. Don’t touch it (unless you’re making two charges baseline).
I just feel we deserve a little divine leap to go with it. We’re a little too not mobile

If your enemy cant get away then you’re still better off than the pally.

We have our shield toss. I am pretty content with that.

I challenge any pally to a foot race. No bubble or blessing of freedom or steed though.

How about you time how long it takes you to kill a resto Druid in a 1v1 situation. That would be a better test.

Paladins should also be able to use something like holy chains to pull people to them. They should also be able to shield themselves in holy light and become invisible. It’d also be great if they could use holy power to teleport directly behind enemies. Also I’d like it if they could reflect spells, be able to dodge 100% of physical attacks for several seconds, and everything else every other class can do. No class should not have every other ability every other class has.

Lol, well I’m probably not a good representation of the average in that regard…

I actually mentioned DK. They aren’t mobile but get a lot of CC and antimobility that makes up for it.
Death Grip is silly.

Long arm of the law was the inverse of that. Ret and holy damage output comes in spikes and judgement is the usual first step in the spike.

Long arm was(?) a slow that would be applied on judgement.

The other function of a quick traversal is to save yourself. Paladins have a super strong bubble and can self heal.

I know you did, but we are still slow as hell. Unholy used the be faster, iirc.

Arator as a Legion Bodyguard does some kind of leap attack for some reason, let’s have that!

I think ret pally and enhance sham are The worst off mobility wise against a moving target in pvp. If enhance had a freedom that wasn’t on a 1 minute cd then I’d remove enh from the list but sometimes you get rooted all day long.

You can have leap but you have to give up your bubble.

See, I don’t want half of those things because they’re things that makes other jobs unique, but when you’re notable uniqueness is being bad at something with no benefit or compensation, it feels bad.

My example was DK. They aren’t mobile, but they can death grip and CC. Paladins can’t CC so they should be mobile. Equivalent Exchange

Exactly. Whether targeted on the ground, straight to an enemy, or just a “go forward” leap. Anything would be nice.

I’m fine without leap. But one more horse charge would be nice! I mean, not talent.
Base 2 horses and talent +1

Haha
Oh aoe stun or aoe CC would be lovely too

All the paladins that I’ve talked to like to pretend that Divine Steed doesn’t count as mobility.

Blizz should make a wheelchair mount exclusively for paladins.
