Paladins need a massive nerf

insane burst both ranged and melee + full damage in bubble + divine steed because why not give them a spell that checks the only counterplay they ever had: kiting

Sorry, but the devs haven’t balanced Season of Discovery for PvP since the second half of Phase 2.

And checks notes Ret Paladins are currently the single worst dps spec in BWL somehow (every other class performing below them has a second dps spec performing above them lol)

So I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Ret PvE dps could be fixed by reverting the occult poison nerf but ret would still be gigabusted in PvP.

I feel your pain the same goes for Feral DPS in cata!!! and people use the Theyre S tier in PvP so they dont need a PvE buff"

or

Go “Insert off spec here” its better

Paladins are incredibly strong. They don’t need a nerf. You need a skill buff. Every class can handle themselves when played by someone who has taken the time to understand how to play the game.

Yes, I will one shot anyone in the game on my paladin. No it’s not because of the class, as evidenced by the amount of people playing this (and every other class) that only press their keys when the drool globs hit them.

I totally agree with Pally Nerf. Horribly OP in PVP. The stuns are way too long, they can hit you during bubble but you cant do anything to them stun or slow or anything dmg wise then before you can counter anything they can mount and ride off from a large group of enemies because no one can stop them. NERF BAT BIGTIME.

If I can not damage through the bubble, they should not be able to either.

No nerfs needed, just make every class available to both sides.

Mages can use Baelfrirebolt and kill them threw the bubble

So I just need a pocketmage, got it.

I agree, until paladin can win 15 v1 pressing 1 button we need to sht post 10 times a day, without fail, for more pala buffs and shaman nerfs. Pressing 2 buttons is unheard of.

yeah 100% the pallys where up in arms about this saying its unfair that one attack can kill them even tho they are in bubble

Changing how an ability fundamentally works is stupid. If you are complaining about a paladin bubbling preventing you from doing anything, that just means you’re trash at the game. Considering that good players have been able to deal with it for 20 years, and good players can still deal with it now, the issue is solely your own. You’re just bad at the game.

It was only bad players complaining about hunter damage (the pet thing was legit, though), moonkin damage, shadow priest damage, shaman damage, paladin damage, etc. etc. etc. It’s only bad players whining. Good players could always kill these “overpowered” classes.

If there were a Venn diagram of players that complain about PVP balance and players that “learn” how to play via trashcan guides, it’d be a circle.

well when a pally bubbles you normally just kite them and wait for the bubble to fall off. But now they have the mount spell that counters them being kited.
Then you add in the fact that they can still attack while being immune to 99.9% of the damage in the game.

The bubble itself isn’t what makes them a problem, it’s the fact that they can 100-0 you while inside of it and deal full damage. They need reduced damage in bubble like they do in other versions of the game.

So you failed to position yourself properly to engage on a person with those abilities, and think it’s the abilities that are the problem, not your own lack of skill.

Nah, mate. You just got out played.

That’s not a problem, either. It’s just you not knowing how to deal with these abilities. Bubble damage is literally lessened because a paladin’s attack speed doubles inside of it. No wonder you think it’s impossible to deal with, you don’t even know what the ability does.

Postion yourself whent hey can close the gap because theyre on a mount then stun lock you it doesnt matter what postion you take unless your on a building they cant charge you which isnt very likely in world PvP or in BG’s

Well, doing that would be against the rules and bannable. No, you can absolutely position yourself in ways that aren’t exploiting the terrain so to not get easily attacked by melee.
