Would anyone else think it would be cool if paladins could do a quest where we could change the color of our abilities? Kinda like the green fire quest for warlocks.
Like some sort of corrupted paladin and the gold abilities are replaced with void purple or fel green, I think that would be badass for roleplaying as a dark/corrupted paladin. The wings that appear could change to evil looking bat wings or something too. I hope blizzard adds more customization like this.
The currupted ashbringer was not used by paladins…
It was used by a death knight.
Ding ding ding!
We have a winner! That is the correct answer! Paladins are strictly light users! And are infused with light magic. A paladin that uses say void or fel would be an entirely different class. An example of that would be death knights and demon hunters.
While I agree that Paladins are infused with light, at this point there are already enough deviations that it would be cool to bring back Glyphs to add more customization. They don’t have to call it fel, corrupted, or anything.
Probably not, that would be wild.
But there are angle they could take to make it work, but I do think it would require too much work for 18month expac/development time.
But the void stuff is coming.
They don’t care about established lore, they are gonna change it so that paladin will look like the dawnbreaker mobs.
That’s my humble opinion anyway.
I could be wrong but that light rock switching from light to shadow is foreshadowing something and it will impact us.
There’s already been a ton of things that broke lore especially with how they added Paladin to certain races. Adding color is so insignificant compared to that.
Yes, but I don’t see why that should limit the ability to customize spell colors. Seems like a silly thing to draw a line in when they already broke lore or added “modern” canon story.
