Paladin Spell color

And they showned naaru can have an influence and imbue people with their essence.

In the Illidan cinematic, it tries to forcibly imprint the light onto on him and then when Illidan destroy it, we can see Turalyon eye color shift as if the power he was imbued with rescinded.

They are gonna find a way to weave that in.

They’ll break the lore, they won’t care.

I would say yes but, not corrupted or fel. How about blue or silver. Now that i could get behind. Now if they ever allow void elfs to be paladins, then forsure tint their abilities as void ( we could call them Void knights instead of paladins)

But it would be awesome to see blue or silver instead of this yellow… i honestly dislike the yellow quite a bit

Why does it have to be anything? Just give us Glyphs to alter and customize it. There doesn’t have to be any lore behind it.

Let our Consecrate be an LED lightshow for all I care.

Not void turned ones that seeks to destroy/consume/currupt their sorroundings.

Never said they cannot, just that it needs to align with light thene colors. Red/orange is perfectly fine for example. Maybe even silver for moon light.

Right? Most of the buttons on my bar are yellow/orange/red, and all of the spell effects are yellow. Instead, they gave one of the brightest colors to the class that sneaks around in the shadows.

I would count corrupting them as imbuing them with the void.

Hell, what the naarru tried to do to Illidan was a form of corruption and it was a light entity.

In fact, the whole point of this scene seemed to have been in part to show that the light was dodgy and can be a corrupting agent as well.

Regardless, they can make whatever they want up to justify it and I think what the dawnbreaker mobs show us is that they already made up their mind about it.

Void and “dark” paladin would be silly, the are really only 2 “reasonable” options, the first one probably being the best, would be Scarlet Glow, some folks have been asking for their Scarlet Crusade thingy for a while and it kinda makes sense within a fanatic sort of use of paladin abilites and stuff.

Then there could be blueish abilities bc of Bastion stuff but I think most people don’t care about it lol.

“Void” or “dark” holy abilites are kinda ridiculous, make a warlock or a dk.

Yes, I absolutely want Diablo angel wings. I would play nothing but paladin.

Heck, dark ranger hunters get versions of them with the Sylvanas banshee wings. Give paladins pure white D4 wings and I will sub forever.

Yet they already made them.

That’s essentially what the Dawnbreaker mobs are.

It’s not a question of whether it be silly for it to happen, it already did.

The question is when are they gonna import that on a class, if they do it at all.

But the next expac is called “midnight” and what’s been shown as far as theme goes seem to lean toward “void/dark” theme.

Do of this what you will, but to discard it outright is very " can’t see the forest through the trees" type of moment…

Maybe they won’t, maybe the angle will be “elune” paladin’s with a silvery light and Night Elf paladin will now be a thing.

Maybe they’ll do both if they keep up with the 2 hero spec.
Who’s to say, but they clearly made it a possible avenue to take.

Think those do shadow damage, not sure how you could rework the class around shadow damage.

I’m just saying it kinda makes a lot more sense to do Scarlet glow, even if I won’t personally use it. (in the unlikely case of a class recolor option)

Anyway, blizavision will do w/e it wants lol, we’ll just have to wait and see.

That does make more sense but that’s not what they did.

They didn’t make them use a more reddish light, they made them use straight up void.

Maybe that’s just a one of, who knows… :upside_down_face:

Exactly
