Reckoning is so good at baiting cds. Also in a game with a dh it’s guaranteed free proc every 40sec with eye beam cause it’s 100% crit chance.
Does each tick count as a crit? I know for some things that measure crit it’s per cast, the Kyrian Soulbind that stacks the heal won’t stack multiple stacks from aoe, just once per cast. I can see it baiting CDs, I love running it in bgs along with the other wing talent and ret aura with SR. Literally infinite wings in team fights.
yeah each tick of eye beam count, to everything too. So if he eye beam all of you together it’s instant wings proc. Also works on dots, each tick crit gives a stack.
So dual wield melee with fast auto attack, frost and firemage, dk because spreadable dot and all the pets/aoe from frost and guaranteed crit. Hunter too. Spriest, Afflock/Destro, Boomy. Everything that spread damage.
Happens a lot, because ret damage with wings is insanely scary right now. People will also put cc on you so you can dr cc before doing real wings.
And honestly, if it procs during your 1min burst of seraphim/divine toll, it’s just the cherry on top.
It’s very good, stacks really fast. Although you don’t control it, it’s honestly better than what it was before because you can get more than once every minute.
Ya idk it actually just does insane damage even with SR and literally free wings without a cd is nuts
Another case of a high burst class QQ’n about another high burst class. Nothing to see here folks, move along.
When you don’t have offensive cds you can cast aimed shots its just not going to do anything. You should wait for trap goes and have some offensive cds to put pressure on the player. I also wouldn’t recommend going mm for 2s, they lack consistent pressure.
JUST CC AND/OR LINE BIG BRAIN FOREHEAD
According to dilly its ez peezy chicken squeezy.
Why are you standing ontop of each other like Target dummies so he can AoE you down? ![]()
I just hit 60 and I’m gearing up with arenas…
I ran into pikaboo constantly at 2k.
Lmao yea no, rogues are most certainly part of the problem right now. They aren’t the only one but definitely part of it.
Ret paladin is the one thing that damage really seems bonkers to me. Queuing 3s see9ng a ret on the other side gives me the most fear.

Here, didn’t find that 1 game but that’s another 20k TV for ya.
With dark arch, but that still means 17k without.
Pretty sure the best strat against a divine toll ret paladin would be to be close in range of the divine toll judgments to split the damage rather than have all the damage on 1 target since a rets single target burst is more scary than their aoe.
But you are a tank player so you cant critically think about these things.
looks like badge+seraphim+fr+the 80 secondary increase from the sephuz legendary which is prob what pushed it so high cuz of seraphim. +80 to every secondary stacked with seraphim is an insane stat increase
That’s not how it works ![]()
If you bunch up you are going to take way more damage then you will get AoE clapped. Maybe try to understand the spell and how it does dmg.
If you say so… the guy who says to bunch up for Ret’s burst ![]()
Pretty sure thats how it works because I never seen a ret 1 shot a team when stacked, I will test it when I can but there is no way that 9 judgments arent distributed.
What are you even talking about.
Here is Divine toll spell
It sends out 5 judgements within 30 yards in an AoE each Judgment hits 75% harder than a normal one. So you want to avoid being close so only 1 player gets hit.
Then running Ringing Clarity conduit allows up to 2 additional Judgments to be cast on the main target. So if I target you with Divine toll you can get hit 1 to 3 Judgements. If someone is next to you…YOU are still taking the same 1 to 3 Judgments but now your friend is also getting hit with 1. Then you are lined up like bowling pins to get AoE clapped.
Please keep standing together. Especially if you fight a Prot because it’s even worse since standing together amplifies the damage of Divine Toll. You are just getting hit more times for more dmg.
Had a 3’s skirm Monk summoned images, resto came in for opener with rogue. He popped out targeted rogue he got hit with 7 AV shields instead of 3. Then flopped over.
Think you said this too soon maybe your priest bubbles rotting the old noggin. I actually understand a great deal about game mechanics.
Yea but the tooltip is misleading when you also read:
Divine Toll is a cooldown ability that unleashes 5 replications of a primary ability to allies or enemies within 30 yards.
Which suggests that it throws out a max of 5 primary abiltiies, and with the conduit adding 1-3 more. I will find out more for myself but it feels easier to heal someone stacked with a teammate rather than someone alone with a ret.
It’s not misleading it does what it says. So be over 30 yards apart so less people get hit and why would you want to be close to an AoE machine of burst.
The conduit adds 1-3 more on the MAIN TARGET it says that on the tool tip. So bunching up does nothing except allow for a team mate to also get hit with Divine toll when they could of avoided it.
This isn’t complicated. Stacking means you take more damage not less but you do you.
PS - I didn’t have to help you from your snarky comment but try to understand the game at least before claiming you know how something works. Also please everyone follow his advice and stack so my Divine toll hits harder. Thanks.
30 yards is a big range, I genuinely do not believe it will hit multiple people with 5 judgments while also throwing 5+ at the main target. Looking at details I never saw an absurd amount of judgments when a ret used divine toll on my stacked group.
Like I said I will test it when I can but I don’t believe that there are going to be 5 judges thrown at multiple targets because then ret cleave would actually be insane and 1 shotting teams that are stacking and I have seen it be easier to have a partner near a ret so maybe I have blind faith and you win however you still are a prot player so gg.
Edit: And yea just played a game where the ret presses divine toll where our warrior is within 30 yard range and he gets clapped by judges while we arent.
