If I remember correctly back in WCIII the paladin hero did have a mass battle res, I just hope that Blizzard doesn’t take something away to give it to us.

If it actually happens that’d be an awesome addition to the class.
Resurrection, which I always inferred as Paladin’s basic resurrect, but a battle res with that name would be a nice thematic touch!@

Bres is perfect for paladin, its on theme (since WarCraft III!) and a great big ticket utility ability that keeps us viable for groups.

Cast time?! and risk being interrupted?? No, no, no. Just remove the cooldown on Impending Victory honestly, lets not kid ourselves here, this is warriors we’re talking about. Nothing but the best. 
You’re right. We warriors deserve more respect, screw paladins and their brez WE need a brez or reincarnation because we’re stupid.
Even before I mained pal I didn’t understand why it didn’t have a b rez. Now that I love the class so much I’m worried they’ll take a bunch away for “balance”
Makes sense, given the class fantasy. By the way, Paladins should have a decurse instead of a de-poison imo.
Agreed. I’ll even go so far to say that Paladins should have gotten a combat rez before any other class had one

Good utility, not what we need though.
It will be nice to have it and be more desirable but doesn’t do anything to address the issues with the class, especially around auras which currently are in a state where only one is desired and others don’t even affect the group.
We already don’t have enough points free in our class talent tree to get back current utility abilities nevermind extra. Just wait for this to be Holy only in the spec tree as well if it does happen.
Mass res would be interesting but I think too OP, unless it only does upto battle rez charges, and then it would be terrible because you might only want a rez on a specific person and save a charge for later or something.
A mass rez would be cool if it was an aura or something that allowed a Paladin to ressurect someone who only recently died. Standard rez cast speed as the penalty for it, but say for upto 15s after death they could be rezzed by a Paladin during combat.
Would certainly be unique.
Also lmao at Evokers getting Bloodlust because they needed to provide some extra group utility? Smh

I get the cynicism but all battle resurrections are baseline and available to all a class’ specs. They wouldn’t add a battle rez just to either take away something else or lock it to a specific spec.

I’m happy to hear another BR will be emerging but i don’t really care for it potentially being on paladin. That would make 2 of the 4(/5) BRs are on Plate classes. It does fit paladins them though…
Really I would like to see it given back to Hunters just in a different way.
I mean, you say that but outside of DK, Paladin, and Warlock all classes also have their baseline mobility ability as a free ability.
There has been no consistency of design at all so far.
I honestly hope you’re right, but nothing would surprise me at this point. I’m so checked out on this expansion it’s not funny.
Liked the premise, liked the thought of Dragonriding, but the current development has been so poor I can’t see them doing any good and fixing it.
They are running out of time, we’re about to lock things down into beta, and once again we will be handed an unfinished expansion.
Pretty sure they are referring to the fact BR is unusable in rated PvP.

so i did an iron docks key the other day
3 people failed to dodge the cannon fire from the last boss and died
I battle rez’d all of them with engineering
It’s something available to everyone already with engineering profession.
Even better, in Dragonflight, engineers can make an item that let’s non-engineers battle rez people! (albeit with a slightly smaller success chance)
Point is, battle rez is not a direly lacking utility. It’s already available to everybody in game.
I mean I’ll take anything, but I’d much rather see something like BFA blessing of wisdom and kings return

BR’s don’t work in Rated PvP
