I’m going to guess never. They even stopped selling trader tender in store bundles. Maybe the player pushback worked on this one

I know they originally said they wouldn’t, but literally everyone I know says they’d pay for something like this. The rewards have been great, why not? I’d rather have tenders than the 6 month subscription mount lol.

Every time someone asks for a battle pass in WoW, I keep thinking of the Destiny 2 battle pass. No thanks…

If a big reason you keep your sub is to get those monthly freebies (lets be real, prior to traders tendies there wasn’t much you’d miss out on by smashing out KSH/AoTC then unsubscribing) then your existing sub IS the paid tender battle pass.

Then you need better acquaintances.

You aren’t necessarily meant to ‘keep up’ the whole trading post system is designed specifically that you can’t get everything in one go so you stay subbed.

With a dash of FOMO they dangle the hope that the items you miss MAY come back, but of course you won’t know when that will be, so you better just hang around to be safe, or that’s what they are betting on, anyway. It’s a player retention gimmick, but an effective gimmick none the less.

I want this because the items are only available for a limited time, and there’s no guarantee if they come back.

If the items got rotated back in more and we knew they were coming back during a certain month or something, I wouldn’t need or want to buy tendies with real money because I’d plan accordingly.

Rather than this they should just design the system so that we can get more of the items if we play for enough time.

It’s not like they currently have much of a financial incentive to give us 5 times more items than we can actually buy every month, since other than the occasional cosmetic pack we can’t buy extra tenders.

I guess unless the long game here is still to sell tenders in the cash shop to solve a problem they created that didn’t need to exist in the first place.

Lets not give blizzard more idea about how to fleece the community.

My theory is they’re going to continue to raise the cost of items in the Trading Post so everyone is demanding the ability to buy tender. This would allow them to pat themselves on the back saying they’re doing a good job and listening to the community by selling tender, instead of just increasing the monthly cap or lowering prices back down.

Wouldn’t it be better to have more ways to farm tenders by playing the game?

Idk, like dailies, as reward for clearing a raid, dungeon or delve in some specific difficulty…

In b4 a paid option that just gives you everything on the Trading Post every month.
