I doubt it. Most people aren’t gonna pay to change their name when they ninja. On some of these servers the population is so large they won’t need to. 3/4 of the population will never have heard of them and won’t care.

I said most people. Not all. Sure some will but with todays overpopulated servers you won’t really need to as much.
Are you claiming that absolutely every ninja will name change because you saw some transfer? Maybe your server isn’t as populated… but I have seen videos of ninjas on servers like herod and faerlina and those players are still going strong on those servers. They are mega servers and most of the population doesn’t care about ninjas. Mostly because you aren’t going to know 10,000 individual people. You won’t even know if you have a ninja in your group with that many people.
Prior to classics launch there were a TON of people on the forums talking about how it is ok to ninja a BoE to prevent it being ninja’d from you. Different times we live in.

Pagle is the biggest alliance populated server
and we have a pretty defined list of people that if they even TRY to put a group together.
the entire LFG starts blasting them.
name changes suck. stick with what you chose imo.
Or atleast make it so if you change your name, people who added you to a list has that name retro actively changed as well so we know who you are =]
A name change tool is basically a free GDKP ninja tool.
make a new name, ninja as many as you can until everyone knows it was you, then pay for a change and do it again.
name changes are cancer.

I want to swap the names of my Hunters (Jeddite) with the names of my Druids (not Jeddite) because my Druids will be my mains in TBC and my Hunters will be Level 49 twinks until possibly WotLK Classic.
And I’ll pay to do it.

Name changes should be something that Blizzard really need to take the time and effort to review. There are names in the game that are far from the fantasy names. Its like imagination has flew out the window! Someone at Blizzard should be looking at the list of names on the servers and issuing Name Change Ticket for those who are simply far from following the fantasy genre.

I agree, I know many people that would willing to pay for the option to name change going into TBC. People who have decided to change their mains but would like to have the same name they had in classic. Just add a time restriction similar to the 90day character transfer option. please, thank you.

I would love to have my name changed. Nobody on Discord pronounces my name as I imagined it and I would love to change to a new one. I’d bet there are a lot of people like me who would love this feature. You could minimize abuse by putting it behind a paywall, giving it a long cooldown, or making it a one-time-only thing.

You can do it now for free if you don’t play toon for a month.
Not allowing name changes due to ninja players would be a horrible reason to not allow the majority of players the luxury to name change. Just add a 90 day name change buffer to prevent abuse of name changes.
This is a quality of life change that should be added. Allow name changes please!

If you are careful in making sure that the rules and loot distribution of your GDKP raid is laid out clearly in game text, Blizz will intervene. A transfer or name change will not stop that.

You can already ninja and xfer off the realm, this will have next to no impact stop thinking the world will end everytime something is mentioned.

So we have boosts,.mounts toys and copys none of which were in the store in tbc, yet still no name change?
Some of us want to make a blood elf and use the name we used for our classic main.
