Paid for a name change, your system had a hiccup and now I'm out the money

So I had paid for a name change about 15 minutes ago, changed and accepted my desired name and once my character selection screen updated my name was changed back to a name I had 2 changes ago.

Not sure what’s up with this one, but your characterization of the reply is absurd, Kegpack.

What’s interesting is one portion of my tools is indeed showing the name you stated you used as the one on the character. Another portion is showing it under the old name. Note: You’ve changed that character quite a few times so this isn’t as straightforward as you’d like to paint it.

I see you have tickets currently open and assigned, but this one may take a tech to sort out. I say that primarily because OUR tools are showing two different things - that shouldn’t be.

This is indeed odd, and not something I’ve ever seen happen before. I know you are frustrated, but lashing out at those trying to assist is not going to help the situation.

So outside of changing my attitude where do I go from here? I understand I’ve had a lot of changes on said character. It’s been around since the game released. So where do I go from here because frankly the selection of support options is very vague.

Have you checked for the latest response?

Yes I just did and was coming back to mention it.

It looks like the issue has been resolved now, but sometimes the answer is just being patient, and while yes this can be difficult sometimes, when your dealing with non standard issues, there isn’t always an immediate solution.

Anytime you hear support say they haven’t seen the issue before, expect it to take a bit longer to figure out, and reading the comments from CS, they likely had to escalate the issue. Escalations will always extend the time it takes to solve a problem, likely by days at minimum, simply because the people needed are usually more limited, as well as often busier so can’t just jump to each new problem that rolls across their desk.
