Well that’s the conclusion blizz came to after 15 years too. Honestly it does solve the problem of people rolling the wrong server type. Lol.
I believe you’re right though. Players don’t want it. They can congregate on Moonguard for ERP but can’t come together to balance a server.
Paid character transfers in classic should have the same functionality it had in vanilla. Please add account transfers to paid character transfer service. It was in vanilla and should be part of classic as well. Its also part of retail and should be easy to add to the game, plus its more money for blizz…

Already happening. Riding around for many minutes looking for Alliance to gank on Skeram. I’m transferring most likely.
