Paid carry runs needs to be stopped

I like the concept of what you’re saying in principle, but in reality it does not work that way. It’s not as simple as what you’re trying to say here.

It really is that simple. If OP dislikes people selling runs then he shouldn’t be participating in the practice. It’s like saying people shouldn’t text while driving and then text while driving.

If only people would stop drunk driving the roads would be safer and I will stop drunk driving too

This would cut into blizzards revenue. So no.

As a gamer, this is a good idea to address. But Blizzard is a company, not a person. And certainly not a player of this game

Way to set up your battle ship then launch the biggest torpedo right at it immediately

You can figure it out pretty easily by looking at their runs in the in game add on for io.

they kinda do, you can check a lot of info in raider io, see who they ran with, their talents for the dungeon, their ilvl at the time, so and so on

Sounds like a Skill issue. Let people with money do what they want

What about being carried by 4 friends because they love you?

You paid for PVP boosts. Relax

wait if you’re the problem, why don’t you just… not?

will never happen people buy token for the carries Blizzard will lose to much money

I want my valor back!

“Yeah man, fraud needs to be illegal but I commit it everyday.”
“Yeah man, drugs should be illegal but I use them every day.”
“Yeah man, this should be against the rules but I’m not going to follow that principle and instead of being the change I want to see I’ll just take part.”

Homie pls…

So, you actively add to the problem and then come here and complain about it.

+20 each dungeon on fort/tyr is 8.8 mil gold.

Noones paying that much.

Well then, no need to read the rest of your post.

But… aren’t carries for gold… allowed per Blizzard?

So it’s more like I sell Snickers bars but I want anyone that buys Snickers branded and ridiculed in public.

The weird thing is… if they decided one day to ban paid carries they would also have to address the paid carries we do in quests. Ya know… those escort the NPC that gets stuck on a rock and walks slower than water flowing up hill unassisted? That’s all a carry is… someone paying us in gold to escort them to the end of the dungeon. It’s a totally valid RP reason and that’s why they allow it.

But nah… people want to have it made against the rules so they can up the rates and eliminate their competition.

Idk man, I was just pointing out the hypocrisy in saying something shouldn’t be okay whilst actively doing that thing. People wanna pay for carries idc. I’ll just laugh at them when they post threads about people leaving their keys.

Oh I know. I wasn’t disagreeing with you. I was just adding in that people are railing on something that isn’t even remotely against the rules. It’s comical.

Did you see the thread yesterday that used Metrohaha’s video as “evidence”. Man that was a mistake.

  1. Very very VERY few people are sinking that kind of money into carries. The last couple dungeons they need for whatever achievement? Yeah sure. A random dungeon here and there for vault loot? Maybe. 0 to 100 KSH? Lol no. Not enough people have that kinda gold to throw away for this to be a significant thing. Bigger deal when looking at something like AotC since it’s a 1-time purchase and generally significantly cheaper than actually buying a full clear.
  2. I think you underestimate how many people get to high io / high gear without actually being good but without buying runs. If people are generally doing mechanics, it’s not particularly hard to have a semi-carry in a key. If a bad player is running a lot of dungeons, eventually they will look like a good player to anyone who doesn’t dig into them beyond their score, since all it takes to look good is a single successful run per dungeon. (And of course, the Vault doesn’t care if you fail the timer, so you still get gear there)
