Actually looks like I’ll be making one of my homes on Mankrik. One of my brothers, his wife, and her brother (plus other friends and family from that side) will all be rolling there and want me to be in their guild with them. 
Even means playing at or near Day 1, which was totally not in my plans, but playing with a known group outdoes avoiding the nonsense.

Hence they are no longer dead, but “living dead”. I sa y filthy because every thing wrong in the warcraft world starts with the alliance, from Medihv, to Arthas To Sylvanis(who smartened up and joined the just side) to Illidan, to Thrall being enslaved all power hungry filthy alliance members…just remember that, the Horde is just, the Horde is honorable, and the Horde IS the resistance. So I say again FILTHY ALLIANCE!!!

I see, no mention of burning down Teldrasil, killing innocents.
The bottom line, is the leaders on both sides are full of crap, just like in the USA today =)

So simple question here: I wanna go alliance but would like to Wpvp when I’m in the mood and not have to wait too long for BG Q’s. do you guys think i should go Mankrik? or is the balance going to be so off that it won’t be worth it?
Several of us from the old Kilrogg server are rolling alliance on Pagle. If your interested let me know
Sounds like Pagle is going to suck as Alliance since it’ll be too overpopulated in the zones, and competing for quest objectives will be annoying. Think I’ll go Mankrik because of this, besides it’ll be likely far more fun being on the underdog team than the steamroll team.

Always played Ally tanks so ill probs go play something i haven’t played. Horde and Druid perhaps.
Pagle seems the choice and just hope the the horde Pop isn’t too low .

Yep, if you all don’t remember how it plays out… For PvE realms there will be two huge servers that start off. Thats obviously Pagle and Mankrik. The poll doesnt tell the whole story, when the casuals and non-reddit posters hit these servers they will both be full to the brim with queues.
Its the PvE server that Blizzard has to add AFTER Pagle and Mankrik fill up that will run the risk of having lower populations. But Pagle and Mankrik will likely both be the highest pop PvE realms in classic until the lights are turned off.
Stormrage (An original launch PvE server) is to this day, still the highest pop Alliance server in WoW last I checked. Still has the occasional login queue even after all these years. People love active servers where they can easily find guilds that fit them.

Mankrik is going to be my Horde server. Haven’t decided on my Alliance PvP server yet. Not a lot of good picks for EST. Faerilina is the Twitch server, Herod is going to be overpopulated AF, and Thalnos is the unofficial Brazilian server and I speak English lol.

My take on Pagle so far is that it’s a pretty good place for serious Alliance raiding guilds. My guild is located there too
