Pagle vs Benediction for alliance for Cata

I noticed that Pagle is the only high pop alliance server now. And ironforge confirms it has a higher pop than Benediction. At least atm.

Anyone know why/how this happened? People transferring to Pagle? Not sure which server to play on for alliance.

Might have something to do with Blizz announcing free transfers to Pagle from a bunch of different servers

Last I heard Bene was still top population but who knows, with all thr free transfers happening it might be second-place population to Pagle now

Ah ok – thx for the update. I am not sure why I thought they were separate like that but good to know.

Benediction is PvP technically but it’s really only alliance on the server. So I don’t think you will have a different experience that way is what I meant.

I wish I could stay on the locked server and be the only player playing there, I would like that more over going to a high pop server who will probably have queues.

I hate being pretty much force to move to Pagle which was the only PVE Alliance US East server option, if they offer free transfer off Pagle to go to a lower pop server US East PVE where its not 95% Horde I’ll take it instantly.

If you go to Bene, watch out, them Bene Boys ™ Take the WoW PvP very sersly.

Any number you see now from IF pro is not indicative of what you will see come cata. Most people are taking a break from raiding, which is how IFpro gathers its census data.

Yeah it’s a good point. If there were more transfers to Pagle that will skew its current pop upward compared to the future since the players who just transferred are playing now and not taking a break.

The difference is that one doesn’t pretend to be PVP.

cuz people tranferred to a pve realm. Even though benediction really is a pve realm as well.

My gnome mage and alts took the free transfer to Pagle. There are some nice folks on that realm.
