I hate to break it to you but they honestly just don’t care. 
Having a 70/30 or even 99/1 ally server literally doesn’t affect the alliance one bit

I think people who chose to roll on PvE servers didn’t miss that point at all. PvP mega servers are very likely to fail without server locks and faction caps. Why would you play on a PvP server without those conditions?
I, as well as the entirety of the WoW playerbase have zero sympathy or concern for people who rolled on a pvp server then whine about pvp.

OG PvP servers were actually a lot of fun for a lot of players. Even players outnumbered on an imbalanced server had a blast. But back then a faction imbalance usually meant you were outnumbered by a few hundred at most. Now a 60/40 pop means the underdog faction is outnumbered by thousands, and the problem only gets worse the bigger the imbalance becomes.
TBCC is done. IMO it’s a total failure. I have no plans to come back when my sub is finally up and I have no plans to pick up wrath. Blizzard hasn’t shown they have any interest in doing what’s best for their game. Any idiot could see what was coming when Blizzard made changes to their server pops, but didn’t implement server locks or faction caps. Warmode is just another “yeah we don’t care.”

I mean, it’s what pvp servers were made for, at least this time round.
Not sure you can really “fix” the main reason so many people chose them.
There are people in this thread and I’ve heard other people who transfer say things like “Benediction still has a healthy horde they aren’t going anywhere” and “Benediction will not become 99%” and I was responding to the people in this thread saying things like that.
I am aware that players who should have rolled PVE and who only enjoy a portion of the game do not care about server balance. I’m hearing the same thing from horde on my server including those in my guild right now “Why would the horde care that the alliance are leaving?” so yes I know that people who raid log all week only care that they don’t die once in front of an instance portal even with no world buffs because getting killed by other players on a server labeled PVP upsets them a lot.

If it’s already tipped this far… your server is done, you just haven’t pulled the plug yet. Dailies will be ruined for the casuals, and the SSC pipe and TK graveyard will make raiding an excessive chore even for the sweatier guilds.
You had better hope you or another Alliance gets very lucky and snags a depleted trinket so you can get your Badge, else you’ll never get a chance to even try to farm one. The real kicker will be when you start to notice the AH dwindling down to nothing as you hit the 20-25% mark as the minority faction.
I’d say look for a better PvP server but you’re either looking at transferring into another Horde dominated location or you’re going to an Alliance dominated location and you still won’t have any PvP, but at least you can do stuff in the world like the rest of the PvE servers.

You’re not actually standing up for anything, this isn’t the Alamo, it is a video game that you choose to misplace some odd sense of pride in staying on a dying server that will soon be PvE whether you or the Horde on your server like it.

at this point lets just make it into retail wow.
Maybe just label the servers that are already heavily imbalanced PVE and have a few actual PVP servers and then faction lock those PVP servers to keep things balanced. That’s better than nothing. The biggest problem is the PVE player perception that they have to be on a PVP server to be competitive even if they hate PVP servers. You’ve said as much.
I don’t expect Blizzard to help in any way however. The best I can hope for is one server that actually stays PVP or if that doesn’t happen I just play on the 1% side. Or I play fresh Classic. What are your suggestions for people like me other than saying I’m a dying breed and other unhelpful crap like that?
WoW was built from the RTS games which centered around on faction vs faction fighting. World PVP was very much part of Classic and this was very recently. Some people hated Classic phase 2 and some servers became highly imbalanced but for the most part there was server choice. Having a choice of 99% PVP server and PVE server isn’t really a choice at all. I don’t know why you find it so strange that myself and some others want a core part of what game was built on to exist.
