Ok but who cares about OW2? It’s the same thing which could have been adjusted in OW1.
This seems completely believable. How in the f are people unironically defending Kotick and executive meddling right now
It’s basically OW PvE expansion with a bad naming scheme.
If they had called it as it is no one would have cared. Don’t really care what it’s named though honestly, looking forward to it myself.
He didn’t buy any new stock after the price tanked. People are buying into it now because it’ll get converted into Microsoft stock.
well it isn’t like he is going to read her feed.
what point? she made a claim which at best isn’t the full story, at worst a blatant lie - what is there to discuss since I don’t know the details. I am discussing what I can see - her character…
I don’t. However it is logical to think that IF this sort of thing is happening to the OW team, it can be happening to other teams like wow. Only time will tell if things get better as time goes on.
blizzard has stated since WoD they have 2 teams working though. One on expansions and one on patches so that sort of things isn’t likely to be happening (if any of this she stated was true).
I reasonably find it a bit suspicious when people berate others when it’s beneficial. Maybe the things she’s saying are true, but her word doesn’t have more value than Kotick’s unless there is proof.
Trying to elicit favor in a public forum by attacking others, seems kind of … cheap? or childish? Not quite sure really, but it doesn’t create a good image for anyone that does this sort of thing.
Maybe she’s worried about the shake up that will take place when Microsoft starts to reorganize things. Or, maybe she’s just a frustrated worker who saw her efforts go to waste because of someone else’s failings. I don’t know, but without proof this is a bit of a waste of time.
im more inclined to believe the person thats not in epstiens flight logs, but everyones entitled to believe what they want. i dont see why we have any reason not to believe a producer on the game. She’s frustrated, and its obvious why.
Because she’s incentivized to make a public statement placing blame on other people, especially before a shakeup at Blizzard.
Again, I don’t think she’s lying, what I think is that I don’t know. I’m not going to take her side because she’s upset, there has to be more there there.
She looks extremely unprofessional. Look at her background pic (or w/e it’s called). Looks like something an edgy middle school teenager might have.
But it’s made by an “insider”! Not like people lie… ever. Esp to dogpile on a hated ceo.
This past weekend my friends daughter (17) asked me to help her with making a resume and cover letter for her Economics class. She had a photo like you’re describing and I’m just like what are you doing?
I feel like people pick and choose when their Twitter account is “personal” or “professional” but in my opinion her Twitter post comes off as unprofessional in behavior. I’m sure it’s emotionally charged and I’m sure her emotions are valid but in my eyes it doesn’t read well and kind of detracts from her point. It isn’t comforting knowing the games I love are in the hands of children (mentally).
Just watch her being one of the ones that lose her job because she runs her mouth. Then see her cry how she was so unfairly treated by MS as they restructure the company.
OW 2 in general should not be called OW 2 because all it is, is basically DLC PvE content. People who don’t get OW 2 can still play comp mode etc. and get the new maps and heroes and will be in the same queue as OW 2.
Either way, the pve mode looked pretty meh and just longer versions of their current special maps they launch at times. Like the event ones. I am drawing a blank on the names of them but they aren’t all that great.
It’s a Twitter profile, not a LinkedIn. Pretty sure she’s allowed to express herself however she wants.
Lol, stay mad.
When Blizz has been hiring employees like her, apparently in 2017, it isn’t exactly shocking that the company has fallen off a cliff since then.
His name was in Epsteins black book, I don’t think anything wlll give Kotick a great name lol… the dude has multi millions, took a company out of bankruptcy and sold it for almost 70 Billion. In the corporate world, he would be a role model
They have a procedure to follow and 'till Microsoft Gaming integrates itself, they’ll usually keep on the CEO to help with the transition. He’s staying till 2023, if you like it or not. Things are delayed, and nothing is gonna be fixed so he can have a ‘great name’ as you put it.
