Can’t do anything in the open world at this point but stand and watch bots grind all day. How is charging people a monthly fee for this not considered fraud ? Its an unplayable product.

Totally agree. Layers were supposed to normalize the high pop, but it doesn’t feel properly tuned.

Forced Megaservers and layers absolutely killed the spirit of the game.
Even the AH is a mess.

Megaservers are trash. Layers should not exist (outside of at most the first week). If layers are needed after that, they need more servers.
Why did they do this? Laziness and greed. Fewer servers to maintain = cheaper. They don’t give a damn about the player experience. And Anniversary realms were made to sell the upcoming new TBC Super Deluxe Edition and Boosts. The same when it goes to Wrath. Just another way to milk whales.

I’m curious to know what new mount they’ll include with that TBC Super Deluxe Edition and if those who ride around on it can expect the same treatment as they did before.

I have not. I knew that MoP classic itself was coming but must have missed where they made that particular announcement.
Those like me that are here wanted TBC/Wrath to continue. We’re only here for those expacs.
It’s more like the classic Andys and the retailers who wanted a vanilla fresh because these two demographics go hand in hand with regard to who their target audience is.
Yup, and of course they don’t include the Boost in the cheaper version. And even worse they share mounts and pets between Retail and Classic. Gotta lure those braindead Retail whales to come buy some stuff for their collections.

Yep, here for TBC. Not even sure that I will do Wrath again if Anniversary progresses to it (why wouldn’t it?).
This is 100% a player created problem.
Blizzard doesn’t tell you that you need every consume in the game your character can use and every very rare world drop that is good for your class before you can get in combat with the target dummy bosses in Molten Core.
Players did that, and they really don’t know why but they do it anyway.
It should be obvious to everyone though that the bots are the visible effects of gold buyers. You can’t find a thorium node because swipers need consumes for raid night and BiS crafted items to get an invite.
