Outland Cup

I really liked that.

If you do the quest and get gold in all the races you will have enough to purchase the full transmog set. There’s also a randomized manuscript for dragon riding mounts.

It was a trip down memory lane and also gave me a fresh perspective on Outland. I haven’t been there in a looooong time except when I afk during the flight to TK.

Which, the mount from TK still didn’t drop for me. Booo.

But it was really nice flying around Area 52 and Nagrand at high speeds. I kept remembering all the time I spent grinding reps out there.

I strongly recommend you check it out. I had a peaceful and fulfilling gaming session last night doing those courses, and I plan on doing it again in an alt to get that manuscript.

Dragon riding in old zones is so good imo.

Yea I quite enjoyed it too. Some races were definitely harder than others though. I look forward to the Northrend cup. Gonna do spirals around ICC!

Yeah that’s gonna be a trip down memory lane for me too. I bet there will be a sick course through the Howling Fjord as well.

read on wowhead you’re supposed to get a title and tabard as well for gold, did thhat end up not being the case? completed these last night but nothing

they need to leave the vendors for every cup there. i got everything for the kalimdor cup and was away working for eastern kingdoms and noticed now i didnt purchase the cloak. so it wont be until feb or march 2025 before that vendor returns.

and same goes for the timewalking vendors. leave them available at all times. annoying for people to wait 4 months for the vendor to appear again. not that i need anything from the timewalking vendors but i am sure there are people that do. would be just a good qol change.

I did a few and thought they were fine. That’s about it, they’re fine. They’re all the same race just in a different location. Different race locations don’t add anything new, so once you do it your first few times you’ve pretty much seen everything.

my dragon is exceptional.

I did the easy course and got gold but don’t think I got a title or tabard. I wonder if that’s for the hard version. I will have to check and see when I get off work.

They’re for getting gold in all the races. I did all of them on gold and got them.

I was hoping the Grotto Netherwing would have some missing colors added to the vendor for this cup, but…sigh

I really question if the devs who set the times for gold in the reverse/advanced didn’t run some of these with Dev mode on, Bc even if you do some of them perfectly you cant complete a few.

Which ones are you referring to? I know two races are kinda hard.

I’m stuck on Auchindoun Coaster reverse, no amount of fast turns or scenery bouncing off is enough to make up the time, for myself, closest i have gotten is 71.88 and i have to be sub 70.00 for gold

Yeah, I knew there’s something off with that course, but a friend told me of “dolphin maneuver” trick have you tried that?

It’s kinda hard to explain, but there’s a video of it if you’re interested.

I am more then open to any suggestions

I forgot to get the quest and completed all versions of the races. :sob:

Twas fun going back to Outland and going to places I haven’t been to in years. I did notice one missed opportunity and it was not using the tunnels between Zangarmarsh and Blades Edge. Maybe it was a technical thing but it would have been nice flying thru those.

I’m enjoying the courses, hoping for Northrend Cup and Pandaria Cup before Dragon Flight ends.

I think I’ll pass on that one.

Hope they continue something similar to racing cup in War Within.

Still stuck.

Auchindoun and one in Netherstorm gave me the most trouble to gold advanced. Took me about 3 hours to do them all, give or take.

Northrend is next april. Panda cup next july. Legion october. Don’t see one for Warlords.
