Our guild master...

So, he said he was leaving, he will give up GM to one of the council members, right? well, he hasn't logged in in nearly 2 weeks now and refuses to communicate with any of us. We know he moved one of his characters off of our server to another. He is avoiding doing it at all possible. What is it that we can do? How many days do we have to wait for him to be inactive to take it over? We aren't doing a mutiny- this was his own decision. IMO he is trying to drown the guild first before giving us lead. I am worried he may come on and just disband us, at this point idk what he is going to do since he has cut off any communcations with us.

Thanks!!

Unless anyone in guild is Rank 1,2,3 no one can get to take GM position. And as long as he logs onto his GM toon once every 90 days even if you are a higher rank you cannot dethrone.

2-3 months and there's nothing you can do about it.
Start a new guild. Elect a leader. Follow the leader

Blizzard ignores guilds. Guild leaders start ignoring their members. Seems fair.

/sarcasm

Not like Blizzard has paid much attention to guild leader complaints in the Guild UI and Permissions thread.

It's been a long time since Blizzard has shown any love for guilds. No surprise that guilds are dying off.

Make a new guild.
As others have said due to the rules on guild leadership the best option is to from a new guild with the current active players.
Maybe he changed his mind and wants to keep his guild for bank space or whatever. Go make your own, there is nothing you can do at the moment.
