Yeah, didn’t you see the thread from the pro-RDF tank who has not found a single group despite listing and spamming for many hours per day? real experiences
Probably listed for normal sitting there silently wondering why he aint getting any invites There’s just no way a tank putting in a few minutes of effort can’t form a group.
As I said, and this is after already finally landing a group, you meet a nice group of people and you all want to run something else together to keep the magic alive, but can’t because someone is saved, and then someone else is saved to the next suggestion, and so forth until either the group falls apart or someone is asked to leave.
Not having RDF means there’s no way to get around other people’s lockouts, so this new retail-ish manual feature goes counter to Blizzard wanting social interactions and friendships to form.
hell yeah, layers, shop boosts, heroic plus, raid items getting buffed in item level and later dropping from 5man dungeons, current 5man hc’s droping epic items which wasn’t a thing at patch 3.0, WG became a cross-servers, lots of edits to multi things as honor gear are cheaper, quests gives loot boxes filled with consumes/material, and more things, so How is this supposed to be even considered classic anymore?! you need to be so high if you can call this classic!
RDF is a part of wotlk, people demand what wotlk had, no one asked for fail goodie boxes or useless DF UI, no one wanted all those trash changes blizzard has made! people signed up for wotlkc to play wotlk not something else And for what everyone wants RDF except those abusers or people who does rmt.
I don’t and I do neither of those things…I just know how to post in /LookingForGroup and navigate the difficult social struggle of “I’m locked to that one”
RDF does not magically create tanks and healers or other people to play with that otherwise do not exist. If there are tons of people wanting to run dungeons, then they can find each other in the current system (which is happening all the time, even right at this very moment). If people are saying they want RDF because it circumvents the fundamental nature of once per day heroics… well that is a separate issue from RDF and heroics could have no lockout in any system!
Dude. Maybe once in a blue moon this happens.
Again, there are 12 heroic dungeons. The chances that people are not saved to at least a few are very high, and in fact almost always the case.
You are deliberately trying to skew reality to fit your agenda for having RDF implemented. Its plain deceitful what you are doing.
Because it’s simply a better tool to pug dungeons.
Because its convenient?
Because it achieves the same results in a better way for the end user.
That’s not just convenience, it’s just proficiency.
I disagree, learning to build your own group is a better end result.
I like this suggestion of yours (even though RDF is also a solution). Heroics not having a lockout system really should be the case. The only reason people were able to keep grouping together in vanilla-classic is because no 5 man dungeons had lockouts.
And I know Blizzard said they don’t want players gearing too fast which is why they got rid of RDF, but most the randoms I group with at resets are already full or near-full pre-raid bis for days now. Like we’re going to be on this patch for months and everyone got fully geared in the first week from 5 mans, so Blizzard’s logic there doesn’t make sense.
Why? At the end of the day the end result is the same. 4 random people you’ll never see again.
I’ve already added 6 new people to my friends list from Heroics. So yeah…disagree.
It’s nice to see someone in dalaran and be like “ah I remember that guy from last night”
You can add friends in RDF so that doesn’t track.
Wrong.
Blizzard realized real quick that keeping 100% true to original was not the best for the longevity and health of classic. Thats why they say “classic with #somechanges”. I’m all for positive changes to keep the spirit of classic how it was. RDF is not in keeping with the spirit of classic.
And what the hell are you talking about “abusers”? I don’t want RDF because I think it detrimentally hurts the game, and the community. I’m all for not having convenience in the game if it means the game is objectively better from a social and community standpoint.
Not if it’s cross server…and if it’s not cross server then it doesn’t fix any of the problems people have
Must be nice being on a dead realm where that actually happens.
At this point, if neither of us is fibbing, then maybe it’s just a difference with servers. I’d imagine mega servers and servers with queues are much less likely to have such problems.
Oh right, convenience.
You can frame the word in any way you like, but the bottom line is you just want the convenience / proficiency of the queue.
