Canonically the Alliance ceded Tirisfal Glades to the Forsaken, but not because they couldn’t hold it, but because priorities were different and to be honest after Lordaeron City was plagued it didn’t make sense to hold the ruins. Same goes for the greater area which is basically devastated beyond use at this point save maybe the Northeast side or far Western side.
