What if I really want to go to Ardenweald and the sorting hat sends me there but I want to keep my elven form? Is it allowed?

Well the rescued victims of Teldrassil when they spring out of the soul collection gem take on an elf form… so you can take that as you will. The wild shape is a gift given to mortal souls in her care, not some sort of curse or something.

Well the description says that ‘can choose an animal form’ not that they must.

Old Gods seem to be pushovers everywhere.

Could have been cool lore if it wasn’t such a weak old god again.

The real question is: Do they have to stay in this new form? Lore wise I mean.

A few things that stood out to me they refer to the Old God as the Dark God as a proper noun in a few places, but a noun in others. Might just be a grammar mistake.

Second is the use of “generations” to describe the length of events. How many years is an Fyzandian generation? 25 years, 1000, 3?

Why was an Old God on Fyzandi? Just chance or is it trying to corrupt that planet for the master plan too?

Finally it makes it sound like they saved Fyzandi… so is that planet still around or were they destroyed ten minutes later when Sargeras came by? I feel like they wouldn’t be rejoicing if they stopped one threat only to see their world fall to another. I’m all for making Azeroth less important in the story, but that isn’t really what they have been pushing for the last better part of a decade.

So a previous Night Warrior was able to fight the old gods but we haven’t seen Tyrande do anything close to that. What the was the point of her acquiring new power is she’s not going to use it?!?!?!?!

I’ll say what I said again: there is an entire universe out there, use something else to be the first Night Warrior’s enemy instead of the overused and not as creepy as you think they are giant screaming kaiju.

Maybe the Old God that fell on Fyzandi was like that really crappy one in Outland that we solo’d in TBC.

simple quick theory here, I think someone arranged for Tyrande to find and get the Night Warrior mantle, knowing it is going to consume and kill her. I can only think of one suspect.

I’m really excited to see where this goes. Always hungry for more Elune lore and always curious why her divine interventions are so limited.

Knowing she’s tending to other worlds I guess explains it. If she had multiple races (children) she watches, just have to make sure they don’t all die and that’s good enough for her lol.

I like all of this. Its super cool to get confirmations of new worlds instead of all this vague “My world was X” and no actual information.

Can already see some people not being able to read and claim that Tyrande’s Darkshore appearance is now somehow worse even though Thiernax and his husband say they had help.

Very curious how all of this will relate to Tyrande now. They can go a bunch of routes with her with this information added. Perhaps she does get the kill on Sylvanas.

Perhaps she instead shares the Night Warrior’s power with the rest of the Night Elves and creates Night Elf Paladins.

Perhaps Ysera, now bound to the Shadowlands, is able to help Tyrande by siphoning enough power away from her to let her survive.
