The only way that would happen is if you were meeting dead center of the map, equidistant from both starting points. That. Doesnt. Happen.
You, on your epic mount, run to the bunker and wait for your crew to show up. The enemy team will be there before your team because the bunker is on their side of the map.

I’ve seen people say this before. Is that even true? Certainly not my experience

Because I can tell you right now that’s not true.

It was on my server. I didnt have epic riding until TBC and i didnt have much trouble with people beating me to mines or mobs. Without dailies its going to take a long time for inflation to become a problem since the only way to create new wealth is vendoring drops and looting coin. Everything else is just moving that wealth around and losing it to the AH cut, respec costs, repair costs, flight path costs, mailbox costs (30 copper aint much but it adds up), naxx attunement, buying reagents & crafting materials, training costs, etc. Its death by a thousand cuts, a bunch of small sinks that are barely noticeable but effective

I have no idea when you started or when your server rolled out - but I can assure you 100% it was not a “minority” of level 60s that had their epic mount.

That may have been the case on your server.

On Stormreaver, however, it was most definitely the minority that had their epic mounts by the time TBC was released. There may have been a fair number of players that had bought their epic mount, but they were still the minority of level 60’s.

Many of those that bought their epic mounts disappeared soon after due to having been banned for buying gold.

I had just assumed it would be like at launch. I’m really hoping some early mounts that got removed will be available. I want the white raptor!

Well how it was on Launch was there was Riding training for every mount type. So horse training = Human rep. Tiger training = Darn rep. You’d have to buy every type of training for every type of mount you’d want i doubt blizzard is doing that again haha.

If you know anything about programming and versioning, then you know 1.13.0 would come after 1.12.1 and include anything from that patch minus any changes they specifically remove.

Sure, unless you’re running to YOUR bunker?

Or, you know…just do a little circle, or backup when you see them coming? It’s not like you’re glued to the ground.

Or you just use the same speed mount as the rest of the group and not have to turn around. It’s not like you need a lot of bag space in pvp for anything else.

…thats the point. If you and maybe 4 other people had epic mounts and youre running head first into the enemy base with the entire enemy team there you die. Use a 60% mount and you have the entire team backing you up.

Even on an epic mount, you can just stop for a couple seconds.

Blizzcon opening week started Oct 25. That’s probably the version from then. I don’t know what version they’re on currently.
