are they looking ever now? I know a few friends who are now ever looking.
Well truth be told. About them leaving. Private servers crash back to back to back. When they get too many people on them, way worse than what we have here in Blizzard WoW. Plus it is at risk of getting shut down at random anytime so you lose 100% of everything in a second. And you run the risk of getting malware from them as well.
Only ones doing good are the ones that run custom versions of the game. Not those running the exact same version. But still. They all left and left me here. I got no one to play with in Classic now. Told to go to Discord, then told where to go from there.
So Blizzard bassiacly made the private servers flare up again by doing this…
remember what is the one and ONLY reason why we have Classic in the first place? To play on the world that we lost… and Blizzard just took that world away from us once again. So they learned nothing and the private server cycle continues.
Oh…and Blizzard literally will NOT allow me to unsub. Like I did, but then I got auto resubbed… I had a free name change sitting around from months ago that I never used so used it on this toon.
Play on them if you want but idk. I dont want to but Blizzard is kinda forcing us to now at this point.
I won’t be quitting either. There were changes to talent trees and class abilities back when I played Vanilla in 2004-2006. I’d prefer the old talent trees (pre 1.12) and slightly tougher mobs but to me Classic it’s still a great game. Loving the Deviate Delight community currently.
It sounds to me like you don’t enjoy Classic ERA and should be playing another version. Classic ERA is MEANT for the purists you’re glad are gone, not for you.
i thought we were all here for 1.12??? classic era as in its always going to be the classic game
not so much anymore if we are getting sod changes oof
Mankrik cluster is still booming. Was this on whitemane? Kinda hope it was, those sweats need to take their gold buyers somewhere else lol
Now I’m confused. I thought your abiliy to post here was linked to active gametime. My sub expired half an hour ago. I can’t log in anymore - I get the expected error message: “Active game time is needed in order to play World of Warcraft Classic, Please visit www. etc. …” , but I can still post here … what’s happening?
A few other people reported the ability to continue to post for even several hours after their sub expired. It’ll clear out, post while you can!
Sorry to lose you 'Nilla, hope your future journeys are amazing. Stay safe out there.
Itll go for a while, until the internal system does a reboot.
I once was able to post for weeks afterwards.
If you clear your cookies on your computer though or log out of the browser its game over.
Mankirk is doing just fine. I haven’t heard a peep from anyone outside of the WOW Forums. No one really seems to care about these changes because they don’t affect the core experience.
On the Horde, we hardly have any GDKP raids. The only one is on hiatus until September, and even then, they were having problems clearing Naxx.
When SoD launched, all of the bots left the server, and the prices on everything went down.
The Horde community on Mankirk is small and flourishing. We have 2 guilds clearing Naxx every week and a 3rd that will be doing it by the end of the summer probably.
I think Alliance is fine but I really struggle on Horde. I think the community is really nice by the way, no issues there, but there’s just not a lot of people. It’s been a real struggle finding groups while I’ve been leveling and even now at 60. I’m playing a healer and playing with a first timer friend who is DPS to show her the game. Even when we do find a tank (which is rare) we sometimes struggle to find people to fill.
I don’t think Mankrik-Horde bad. Like I said, the community seems really nice. I’ve grouped with people from your guild fairly often and so far everybody has been super nice! I think it’s just a case where if you’re not in a raiding guild and you need to do dungeons, it’s quite challenging. By contrast, on Alliance it’s much easier to find groups. I pugged my Paladin through the t0.5 quest line. It took a while but I was able to find groups fairly easily and if we waited for people, it was always on a tank or healer.
So I don’t think I would say Horde on Mankrik is flourishing. This is in no way intended to be disrespectful of you guys, it’s just the same struggle anybody would have not being an active raider in an established raiding guild in a low pop environment. Which is what people coming in should probably know about.
Then you probably need to join a bigger more active guild. You probably will have a hard time trying to pug groups.
mankrik horde do plenty of 5 mans and attunements
Absolutely.
I keep checking in to see if I’ll catch up with any of those folk I genuinely will miss reading.
Like you.
I appreciate all you have contributed and making me in some cases reconsider my stated position.
Thank you.
Corpseknife had a few moments after his sub expired to continue posting so maybe the forum lags a bit.
You are one of those I will miss, Vanillataur.
Why is it always male tauren that are cool and laid back? Peacebloom?
Take care, our friend from EU.
Happy gaming wherever you go.
You as well, Koki.
Stay feisty.
This place needs that and I will miss that very much.
(with your permission of course)
My sub doesn’t run out till August.
I’ve not and do not intend to log in to game again.
But I’ll pop in to check “news” once in a while.
For the most part, I completely agree! However you don’t need this on Alliance side, there’s plenty of PuGs to be had. That’s all I’m saying
In this case I’m not looking to join a guild on Horde side, so it is what it is.
Not quitting, but I do not like any of the changes; they’re all bad as far as I can see… Hi there, ill stab you later lol.
My brother and I are gone, too few players available causing long waits for BG’s and Dungeon/Raids.
Yeah I’m not sure anyone WANTS Granslam back after the unhinged way they reacted. Good riddance
I was wrong.
Thank goodness.
