I’m seeing WoW consistently crash upon zoning into Oribos after today’s patch. This is on Tahoe 26.2.
Not fully certain if this is Mac specific, but suspecting it is as I’ve had one character not crash immediately by leaving WoW in the background - the crash occurred immediately on tabbing back into WoW. On the other hand, another character is crashing in Oribos regardless. I haven’t seen freezes in any other zones so far.
Anyone with a comparable setup willing to give a quick test? This is on an M2 Pro Mac mini.

So I’m not the only one, I took the portal from Org to Oribos and WoW crashed to the desktop, now whenever I try to log into that character I crash. I tried the stuck character service but that didn’t help. Mac Studio M4 Max

Confirmed it’s happening on an M4 Air as well.

Happening for me too.. M1 MacBook Pro
Same thing here.

I just opened a ticket and asked to be moved back to Stormwind. The GM confirmed she was moved back, but she is still showing Oribos on the character screen
Unsure if it’s related, but in the Org portal room, there are many portals missing, including the one to Oribos. The portal is there in Stormwind though. When I moved an alt to Oribos, I am able to log out and log in there. So maybe it’s only characters logged off there during the patch?
I was in SW and used my mage port to Oribos and now I’m crashing at the loading screen
I just used the SW portal room port to Oribos on another character and it worked and loaded fine..
Just re-opened the ticket - I’ll update if we can at least go this route to free our toons
I was able to get one toon out - the crash happened if I moved at all - so I was able the hearth back to Dornogal. My other character is still stuck there as it crashes on loading.
Okay! A GM can move the toon out of Oribos! I’m now safely back in Stormwind! YAY!

How did you get a hold of one?
I’m having the same issue. I would love to know how to get a GM to move my character to Stormwind
I used the web Battle.net and went into the Stuck Character service! Since I already tried it there was a “Get Help” button once I clicked into the character I needed to move. When I clicked “Get Help” it opened up a web ticket window for me to fill out and submit
the same thing just happened to me
best thing is to stay away from that area until we have confirmation that it’s fixed

Battle.net > Support > World of Warcraft > Stuck Character service > Continue > Select Character > “Get Help” button will be displayed beside “Please contact support for help if this is a recurring problem.” (Note: you need to have already tried the Stuck Character service on the Oribos toon for the “Get Help” to show up after you click “Select Character”)
I hope I made this clear enough - if anyone has any questions feel free to poke me! I’m just going to make dinner now, but I’ll keep checking back
Good luck to you all! xx

Same crash issue. For what it is worth, since one person mentioned using the current MacOS Tahoe 26.2, the crash is affecting the earlier MacOS Sequoia 15.7.3. I also opened a ticket asking to be moved to Stormwind. Fingers crossed.
