Orb of the Fel Temptress

I do apologize because apparently I’m late to this blatant insult from Blizzard.

I had farmed the Orb of the Fel Temptress on my warlock and had unlocked some time ago. It was a ‘glyph’ at the time. I had just back into playing and realized that the skin is locked and noticed that the other ‘glyphs’ I had unlocked were also locked. Most of them seemed to be replaced with inscription unlocks. This was a manageable change as you could just buy them and be done with it. However, this is not the case with Orb of the Fel Temptress.

Apparently, you are to re-farm this item. Even if you had already farmed and unlocked it. Now some might simply say it’s easy to do and just go do it. There are 7 NPC in the dungeon this item can drop from. You kill them, reset the instance, try again. Well RNG has never been on my side. After farming for 15 minutes, I became locked out from doing instances because I’ve ‘entered too many instances recently’.

So not only am I to re-farm an item I had already farmed and unlocked, I’m not even able to do that much because I get locked out of instances.

Please enlighten me on why I’m having to re-farm an item on the character I already unlocked it on.

Because the game is constantly changing what was norm last expac is different this expac. Also could that be spec locked to a certain spec.

It was part of the recent changes to how we can change our Demons’ appearances now. I also had to refarm the Orb of the Fel Temptress.

Fair point i dont play lock.

That limit is like 5 per hour or 10 per hour or something like that. Do something else for 30 minutes or so and then you can go again. Sorry, it does sound annoying if you have to re-farm something like that.

Edit: No one here can tell you why the devs made that choice. If you want to give feedback about it, use the in-game feedback or post in the warlock forum, because feedback isn’t collected from Customer Support. I will bet you ten internet points that there are already discussions about this in the warlock forum.
