yeah it would be but i’m not convinced this is the best course of action since the classic part of classic is not just the mechanics but also the look and feel (sound fx, spell fx, etc) of classic.

in a single player game, i dont have to take other people into consideration. shared environment, social niceties, that kinda thing, is an agreed upon community. we all agree to participate in the game world within set parameters, such as not replacing the textures so everyone appears naked.
Guess what… it’s YOUR character. If they don’t like what they see, it’s on them. You don’t need to worry about what other people think of your character’s appearance.

well considering i’m planning on playing a gnome, i certainly am not being vain about it, but rather i dont want to convey the wrong message. for example, the new gnome female run animation looks like a toddler running, whereas the vanilla version looks like a short adult running. i much prefer the short adult. i dont want to be sending the message that i’m a young chicken when i’m actually 60 years old lol
Gnomes age slower than humans. If your gnome is 60, they ARE a child.

i’m actually 60 years old in real life. remember how the gnome females use to run? look at one now. they run like a toddler now (oh and they have that crazed doll look too. some of them look seriously demented)

Ok, and? How does this in any way negate someone’s desire to have a graphics toggle? More to the point… how does a graphics toggle negatively affect gameplay?
I’ll play with or without one (provided they don’t do server wipes every 2 years like some guys in other threads want), but why will YOU, NOT play WITH one? What about that is so game-breaking to you?

I don’t think you’re trolling. Since it would need to be an optional feature for me to get on-board, I would argue that it’s not a good enough reason to spoil it for those who would turn it on.

i’ll play with or without one also but would end up having some choices and even races, i wouldnt feel comfortable playing such as short race that runs like a toddler. haha
