I love my main; he’s a blood elf paladin.
He’s gone through a lot, and DOES NOT smile.
All of a sudden, now he’s smiling! I hate it! 
Please allow us an option to turn off the smile. There are already a few male blood elf faces that smile. I didn’t choose them for a reason.
Have you tried the Orb of the Sindorei? Maybe it gives you a different face unaffected by the recent change?
Either that or get yourself a nice mask.
This appears to be some kind of bug due to the removal of bones from the facial structure. There was a wowhead article about it. Surely, it’ll be addressed.

I actually think the elf might be even more smiley in the first image? They look very very similar.
