Can entropic embrace become an optional thing for our void elves?
Im sure for those of us who will Roleplay a High Elf who never went blood/void, this well help the immersion in combat.
Perhaps make a questline where the void elf player can take further control over their powers (could be related to why regular skin is an option now). If completed we as the players can choose whether or not to let entropic embrace be activated.
What about adding a glypth to let entropic embrace not make you all blue?
Enthropic embrace should not be optional, as it what makes a void elf… a void elf. What would be the point of rolling one without going void. It is their theme and needs to remain that way for current VE fans.
From the moment someone at Blizzard first considered making Void Elves this was all but inevitable.
It genuinely never fails to surprise me how people will blink boorishly at you when they give you a consolation prize and you don’t want it. It’s like they think that you should just be grateful you got anything; I can tell you for certain that waitresses don’t like getting no tip but they actually take insult to getting a very small tip (0.82c is worse than 0.00 because it’s insulting).
Apologies, I mostly meant the entire dissension. That we’re now getting customization only furthers that dissension.
By and large I meant that people seem to be surprised that Void Elves weren’t enough. Getting a “token prize” just meant that Void Elves weren’t what people wanted so it was never really going to satisfy. Anyone thinking it would was either shortsighted or packed an understanding of the actual desire.
I’ve definitely seen people just not tip. I’ve also seen people round up to the next dollar and call it a day. Most of my friends get more upset about the tiny tip than no tip at all.
I suspect it’s because a very small tip implies that they either weren’t worth the tip or that the person couldn’t be bothered to even think.
Personally I’ve seen some people, very snarkily, suggest that if Void Elves get Blood Elf customization then Blood Elves should get Void Elf customization.
I’m genuinely OK with that if it’s something Blizzard decided to do.
Sort of, to an extent, yes. In as much as Worgen can’t even stop being in Worgen form during combat ever (lore wise it happens even when they’re just in heightened emotion), whereas Void Elves only sort of come-and-go from that stance.
I guess I’d liken it to Worgen getting a crap ton of really awesome human form customizations. Think like really cool scars, tattoos, unique hair styles, and then… it’s all relegated to human form. There might be people who’d feel the desire to show that off at, well, any point in time.
