Option for entropic embrace to be a choice?

If you give a mouse a cookie…

Would it be nice? Sure, but we have to realize they’re still void elves. The compromise is awesome, should just take what we get. A random 6 second proc in combat is hardly that big a deal.

This is what happens when whiny RPers care far too much about races in a video game. Void Elves are Void Elves, whether or not you change their skin and eye appearance. DEAL WITH IT.

Role play all you want but when anyone mouses over you it will say Void Elf not high elf

Not that they were much to being with, one of the most random things to come from BFA.

Void Elves are High/Blood Elves that use the Void.
Why would they not use Entropic Embrace? If you don’t want that… go Horde.

I understand the point behind the suggestion… but rather than requesting to disable the ability entirely… it would be better to request an optional cosmetic overhaul to void elf racials to give them a more arcane power feel. Which in all honesty would probably just be replacing the black portions of their racial effects with white… so you would still turn into a blueberry at random, but you would be a brightly glowing one instead of a dark and brooding one.

What is wrong with entropic embrace it only blips in battle and it fits the flavor of our subrace? With the new skin/eye options I would say we are more like Alleria now with it triggering in battle.

Garrosh: Sylvanas make sure you don’t use the plague!!
Sylvanas: uses the plague
Garrosh: hmmm… throws mana bomb at Theramore

later in BfA
Sylvanas: Anduin didn’t reprimand Genn when he attacked me (while I made shady pacts with death entities), so I’m now going to use this as justification to convince everyone to burn down Teldrassil.

Yeah, a lot of arguments don’t work when you have psycho Horde villains that have a PhD in double standards and genocide. Not saying this is a reflection of the entire Horde itself, but you can’t blame Alliance players here.

no, you idiots.

you don’t get to ask for changes like this, you’re a void elf.

if you want a high elf, you have to keep fighting and asking for high elves to be added. you can’t co-opt void elves as your high elves, that’s a stupid idea.

I would go for entropic embrace being a triggerable ability cause damn do I hate it when it procs at the end of a fight.

You’re still a void elf. Your roleplay doesnt change this. This is like asking people who roleplay dragons in human form to get a dragon form for combat because thats more immersive. Blizz shouldnt cater to your headcanons.

>wanting to enforce order on the chaos of the void

And you call yourself a void elf, smh

Making the visual optional I think you mean.

You can’t just play around with game mechanics for the sake of visual and story identity.

I understand why one would want it, but it basically takes away from being a void elf, which isn’t okay.
I shouldn’t need to see a red name to determine which elf is friendly or not.

Hey now we all know Chaos always beats order because it’s better organized!

That idea makes we wish entropic embrace spread randomly like a virus to party members. Bit op for a racial though

ACtually, Worgen form should be optional, I hate that the game forces you into worgen form in any and all combat, Maybe if it only forced you into worgen form in combat AT NIGHT, or if you got low hp, sure… but as it is, it makes the human form redundant and damages the concept of worgen having a genuine duality.

Genn Graymane fights half the time in human form and it makes him seem way more badass, so why can’t the players?

Cause no one would ever use the awful worgen form with its terrible animations.

Wait you mean like we suddenly get purple tentacles all over our party mates? Don’t run away guys it’s a buff I swear!
