Opinion: BFA > MoP

Lets be honest here…
As much as ppl love to hate on BFA the worse expansion by far was MoP.
A expansion developed over a old april fool joke from Warcraft 3 TFT.
And before ppl lose their mind, this is, as always, a opinion.
What is the worse expansion in your opinion?

Your opinion is wrong.

Whichever one they stopped letting arms warriors tank in, and every expansion after that until its given back. Those are all the worst expansions.

Of course this is just opinions. That’s all it can be. I enjoyed MoP but I also enjoy BfA. So hard to say for me.

This is a bit authoritarian…

Definitely an unpopular opinion right there. MoP was my favorite expansion, and one of the absolute best for class design and original story.

WoD will always have the mantle of worst expansion to date. Twitter integration and a Selfie patch shipped as a “major patch” is the only example you need of why.

MoP is better than BFA and we all know what Expansion is the worst one by a mile

You dont agree with me but that was a very polite reply, thanks for that.
I had to give a like!

People who continue to trot out the ol’ “lol pandas” nonsense clearly paid zero attention to the story in MoP, which was fantastic.

No problem. Opinions can be different so long as respect can be maintained between all parties involved.

I too, concur that your opinion is wrong. As hilarious as that is to say.

MoP is the second best expansion by a mile.

Wotlk - 9
MoP - 9
Cata - 7
BC - 6
Legion - 5
BFA - 4
WoD - 3

Not even close. MoP had a huge rich storyline and background culture, including ties all the way back to Classic with the rise of the Zandalari empire that has led up to current events in BFA. Not to mention the sheer amount of Titan lore, the Klaaxi/Old God/Sha connection, and the eventual downfall and return of the Mogu.

The entire BFA faction “conflict” is a badly rehashed and repeated version of Garrosh, and terribly written at that. At least Garrosh had some excuse of starting out an honorable Orc going down a dark path (though the writers admittedly screwed him up from post-Wrath), where Sylvanas has ALWAYS been a Saturday cartoon villain.

Yeah, there’s some pluses to BFA currently as more story expands, but the overall concept was absolutely stupid, especially coming off LITERALLY all races and classes banding together again as they did in WC3 to defeat the Burning Legion.

MoP is tied with me for WoTLK in terms of best one. BFA is better than WoD and that’s it. WoD was TRASH

World content was abysmal in MoP compared to BFA. Daily hubs, oh boy. And rep gates of dailies locked behind rep gates of dailies haha.

Storyline in both was meh, although Isle of Thunder was pretty great.

Dungeons are better in BFA. Hard to compare the raids unless BFA has a massive 16-month long end tier blunder like MoP.

Can’t even remember how warriors played back then.

Trash that makes me sad because it could have been amazing had they not cut over half of its content out.

How??

MoP had my favorite iteration of arms, hands down. Just… go watch some warrior pov arenas from MoP.

It was so glorious… also slightly broken.

This thing right here had me so excited for WoD at the time. I saw this I believe at BlizzCon? It’s for sure in the art book I have at home, but I was in love with the look of this thing.

It’s now a reminder of why nothing will knock WoD off of its trash throne.

If I recall you didn’t even need MoP to roll a Pandaren. That alone puts it miles ahead of BfA for me.

Addendum:

I’ve never understood why folks always get hung up on the Pandaren’s origins.

To be honest I still like WoD.
Leveling I avoid the Pandaland like the plague.
WoD was alright but they cut and changed a lot during it, made it kinda messy.

Second wind was OP as hell, I remember that.

Fury warriors also had banners, which was kinda neat.

But wild strike existed, so ew.
