Mop had great pvp, something bfa lacks greatly. Mop also had better class design with plenty of theorycrafting. Professions were in a better state with each one being important to pvp and pve. Thunder island and timeless island were fun as well.
Besides Mop’s lack of engaging dungeons and the start of crz/thunderforging (WF/TF), Mop did well.

Exactly! The designs were great, the pre-planned story was interesting, the original hubs were awesome…
I really do not know how Blizzaed managed to bugger it up so badly.
Rip Shattrath raid and Yrel’s story making any measure of sense due to the entire middle of the plot being cut out.

Every expansion is good no matter what when it comes to Art/Music/etc. It’s the decisions they make that makes the game worse. My opinion would be MoP > BfA, personally

Eh… Hard to judge some of them between what things felt like back then and what I’d think of them now.
I do have a few reasons to put BFA ahead of MoP though, yep.

I just like how ppl are actually giving their opinions in a very nice way.

The dungeons weren’t great, though I think I prefer challenge modes to M+ (just because I loved the rewards that come from them far more than the gear now). And I think MoP actually handled the Titanforging system quite well because it was supplemented later in the expansion with the Valor Point system, so even if you didn’t get Titanforges, you could upgrade the gear you had. I loved that system because it wasn’t just me getting screwed by RNG time and again.
PVP, though, MoP has it hands down. It’s the only expansion that I not only PvPed in, but I climbed in 2s with my hunter because it was immensely fun. MoP Hunter was my favorite version of Marks and Survival, and I miss both dearly.

Yeah… fury was a hard pass from me on every expansion after wotlk until BFA. I don’t mind it now, though I vastly prefer prot.
All warriors had banners, btw. Huge overpower crits early on, replaced by a neat overpower stack system. Great utility, good survivability, stance dancing… Double time AND a stun.
It’s been awhile so I don’t remember all of the details but…
Arms warriors are a shadow of there former selves now and it makes me sad.

I don’t get the just because it’s a April fool’s joke it wasn’t a good expansion. It was a great expansion. Pandaria is absolutely stunning, the raids were amazing, it introduced alot new things, timeless isle was great, pandaren race is awesome, dungeons were good, and it introduced the first type of M+ which is a huge success today. What did BFA introduce, rep grinds and ap farming.

MoP was one of my favorite expansions. Classes felt good, flying at max level, the story was actually pretty good. It was pandas on the surface but the story got pretty dark.
WoD = BFA for worst expansion. WoD for the devs starting their war on flying and BFA for the horrendous start. No flying, ilvl scaling felt terrible, GCD on everything, class identity stripped. It just did everything wrong.

I will give you that tho…
Throne of Thunder is one of my favorites raids out there AND I do enjoy Hellfire Citadel and Blackrock Foundry A LOT.
I’m curious to see your reasoning as to how BFA trumps MoP.
Those 2 had some of the greatest looking Transmog sets, Hellfire/Blackrock

I agree 100% with you!
Those mogs are spectacular!

No. The cartoon rabbits throwing carrots and monkeys throwing poop was stupid. Whether or not pandas were stupid is debatable. I think they’re fine but whatevs.
HOWEVER
MoP was full of content. It was impossible to be bored if you did it all. Archaeology, Pet Battles, Brawlers Guild, Proving Grounds and Scenarios was brand new content. LFR was refined. Isle of Giants, Dominance Offensive, Isle of Thunder, Timeless Isle was engaging content. There was the original 5(?) daily quest hubs. Halfhill was awesome. Then the was the stuff going on in the Barrens. The quest to get the cloak was fun.
MoP was the last great xpac.

From a storyline/lore aspect, WoD had TREMENDOUS potential. I was greatly looking forward to seeing the actual rise of the AU clans, and the development of Yrel and the unbroken Draenai. The fact the devs basically washed their hands after a single raid tier, and left the game for almost 2 years without meaningful content updates really irked me.
Plus, the whole “NO FLYING!” kerfluffle was abjectly stupid and immediately backfired in their faces leading to a lot of folks cancelling their subs. My wife and I only came back right before Legion, and the Draenor Pathfinder is still extremely punative in its requirements.
Loved seeing Yrel and the Mag’har scenario for their allied race. I’d love to see a proper return to that in future expansions.

YEAH! /highfive
People have forgot that 6.1 was the worst patch in WoW’s history. It was nerfs, bug fixes and a gd camera and Facebook integration.

Why do you avoid panda leveling?
