The primalist knew who the sundered flame were and know what they were trying to claim. They knew the sundered flame were watching ever since they arrived on forbidden reach. They left the opening way for them to enter, when sundered flame touches the molten lava, they will become corrupted like what happened to Deathwing. The Molten Lava is also made from Old Gods which there is leftovers from it. The Sundered Flame has no clue what the molten lava REALLY contains with.
yup and that fire is the molten lava which contains old god powers which thats what corrupted Deathwing in the first place, they leaving it up to the Dracthyrs (Sundered Flame) to âClaim whats theirsâ and they have no clue what the molten lava would do to them. Once they get corrupted its gonna be one hell of a nightmare cuz Dracthyrs has the power of all dragon aspects. Imagine how insane this is gonna be. They may be small lizards but their powers are super powerful!
Oh please, this is a patch trailer. This has the same energy as Rise of Zandalari complete with a preview of who you will actually be fighting in the patch:
âIridikron! We have a pact!â And through the void portal he goes.
I hope Fyrakk doesnât just die. He seems the most fun of the three and the only one willing to do something about the death of Raz. And another bait trailer. Remember when Sylvanas bamboozled Bolvar? that was fun to watch. Now it is just stretched exposition and waiting for another few months for the next plot point to happen.
Maybe. Itâs also possible that it was as Alexstrasza said, that Vyranoth and Fyrakk were unaware of certain âdealsâ Iridikron was making, and that he was the one whoâs fallen to Old God influence. She might be the one who defects to our side to help put a stop to him.
Or itâs possible Alex has it completely wrong. /shrug.
I can certainly agree about YâShaarj being the central object of Neltharionâs experiments before the Dragon Isles were shut down.
All old gods are gone. I doubt Blizzard elaborates on this. But one thing is true. Both Sargeras and the Jailer warned us about the true enemy which is the void lords. I doubt the Primalists would make a pact when their objective is to free the world of corrupting influences of âfalse godsâ.
At least one of his deals were with the Djaradin, whose elders apparently were each on par with a fully empowered dragon aspectâNeltharion defeated them through trickery rather than straight up confrontation. Making a deal to empower the dudes who hunt your species for sport is pretty sketchy territory, and the other Incarnates do not seem to mind that deal at least given he isnât hiding it and they do not react.
Its possible he has other plans they donât know of, but at least so far they seem ok with his plans.
The incarnates donât really strike me as someone who would give a crap about deals made with djaradin. Alex is smart enough to know this, so I think sheâs referring to something more sinister. Straight up, if she wasnât referencing Old Gods in those comments Iâd be very surprised.
The literal intro cinematic to Shadowlands. Might be a bit unfair to compare that with an in-engine patch cinematic.
I mean are we certain thereâs a new philosophy?
Because for every Good Indigenous Characterization of Inuit and Mongol peoples there is also âGoblins can develop a Self Destructive Greedy Gold Addiction Disease that leads them to betray their friends for their own personal benefitâ
The Incarnates are boring as hell but at least theyâre not actively offensively bad the way the last two expansion villains were. The worst you can say about them is I donât really care.
I should be excited about this upcoming patch because Deathwing is one of my favorite Warcraft bad guys (at least his depicition in books; not so much Cata Deathwing), but Dragonflight, while itâs been inoffensive, itâs also been such a snoozefest that I donât really feel anything even though weâre about to go right into his old stomping grounds.
Does anyone know if PTR has even referenced the Dragon Soul experiments at all or are we just ignoring everything about his previous mad science stuff in favor of new ones made up now?
I always thought of you as a mad doomsayer or mad prophet kinda of guy but man where do you get all of that nonsense???
All we literally know of her is that she is one of the incarnates, she working with iridkron and she was tasked with finding where neltharionâs lab was hidden, just that.
Even the new whispers talk more about what is to come than what is happening right now in DF so?
You have a very imaginative mind.
Nah, this is waaaay better storytelling than Shadowlands.
We know what theyâre after, what their goals are and why theyâre posed as enemies and threats.
- They want the elemental power that fuels Abberus
- Their goals are to elevate dragon kind & defeat the aspects, along with potentially âWashing away the titan stain upon the worldâ
- Theyâre posed as threats because as per above, they want to defeat the aspects and their elemental goals & war pose a threat to the world civilisations and more.
â Everything else revealed is just a bonus at the moment.
We knew more about their motives in the first patch than we did with the Jailor at the very end of the expansion. lol
Technically the Dracthyr are a reference to the Dragon Soul experiments since they follow the same methodology.
It is, but iirc it was mentioned somewhere that the Djaradin are allied with the Primalists as they have a common enemy (The Aspects) and it is an alliance of opportunity. The Djaradin do plan on turning on the Primalists in time. As they want their Elders back in the meantime.
I mean we do see Djaradin (as trash mobs) in the VotI raid. So their alliance existed when Razzy was the only Incarnate out and about.
And the Dracthyr also re-contextualizes the Chromatic Dragonflight. Where Nefarian wanted to recrete the Dracthyr but he couldnât. He isnât his father after all. Neltharian did consider the Dracthyr to be failures in the end (mainly due to him being unable to control them directly) so it still fits the whole, âI wanna prove that I can do it better than my Daddyâ motive for Nefarian.
technically the molten lava contains leftovers of old godâs power. thats what the primalist were after for the dracthyrs to touch and destroy the aspects since Dracthyrs has all powers from each aspect. Those dracthyrs are Sundered Flame, while the rest set to a different path which is a good path not following deathwingâs footsteps.
Right after he had his bath in the Shadowflame no less. So this is him on his way out of Zaralek CavernâŚ
Damm this crap is getting dark.
