Right now on horde we have access to warriors and feral tanks who have Tier 2/3… both are not optimal
The majority of the blood elf paladins are potentially still weeks/months away from being outlands tank ready
If they just open up boosting (or faction server transfer) then we can fix the tank shortage over night most likely
hell… i have a full BiS tank set on my 60 paladin in classic right now sitting unused because I can’t transfer him to the Horde… and would in a heartbeat to just get off a pvp server and onto a different faction
yeah but they can turn around and sell boosts/farm gold with them … so there’s really no loss in having a paladin in TBC. Kind alike having a mage in Classic
yeah man, I’ve been thinking to myself that we need more boosters and low level dungeon farmers in the game. It’s like I look in LFG and can’t find a booster anywhere
You have always been able to transfer from PvP to PvE, it was only ever PvE to PvP that was restricted. I don’t know if this restriction is still in place.
Tanks are rare because its taxing to play one. Especially when they have to deal with people who do not follow instructions and make the role even more difficult.
Befriend one and treat them well, follow their kill order, if they say wait for a tick to DPS, then you wait.
This right here is the real root of the problem. The reason tanks might be hard for some to find is that most good tanks do not PUG. My guild has plenty of tanks and every one of them refuses to run anything that is not guild lead. Why? because most players treat tanks like garbage, they refuse to listen to them, think they know better than the tank, do not listen to kill orders, try to pull for the tank, and refuse to allow them the time they need to establish aggro.
