Opened timewalking Cache before hotfix

I submitted another bug report since the blue post said I was supposed to get a replacement in the mail and never got one. I am one of the ones who got a 441 curio. You did all the hard fixes already, this one seems relatively easy and there are a lot of players that got the curio. I guess I will hold onto it as a reminder

Seems like they still need to fix the curios.

Can confirm, still an issue

Funny the amount of people in this thread claiming it’s a lie. The fix wasn’t a lie, the redistribution of loot for the TW cache seems to be isolated to the Curio. Things like this aren’t just a switch to be flipped, even non-developers should know that. Give them time to resolve, you’ll get your loot soon.

what about the people who opened theirs after 2:30 pm PDT and still had it bugged?

Opened my weekly quest from Therazal and my reward from Siege and got 350 ilvl items out of both at approximately 7:10 pm EST.

okay but what about the Cache of the Storms? It’s supposed to have Veteran gear and had <400 greens instead. Can you at least let us know if they’re safe to open yet or am I going to keep wasting my time on them?

Please remove mana tombs. This dungeon is so bad that I don’t want to do TBC Time Walk anymore.

That’s one of the easier and quicker ones though. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No replacement as of 18:00 EDT

Would it be possible to get some acknowledgement that you are aware of the problem, and working on it? I know you don’t necessarily know when this will be fixed, but from what I keep hearing people are still getting Flame-Warped Curios from the TW cache. I don’t want to do the 5 dungeons on my alts if I’ll get a worthless reward.

both of my characters that were affected by this opened their cache in the designated window and did not receive a replacement in the mail, is this to say that you’re just not going to replace my caches?

I opened my cache on Tuesday and got a 441. Didn’t get a replacement today.

The dungeon is crap and annoying!

Me too. Devs, you nattering nabobs, I call BS.

Any updates? It’s been two days.

We’ve been screwed good and proper. The only good thing about this is that today I got Fyr’alath, so maybe the Gods of Karma decided to smile on me. The Devs sometimes remind me of drunken bulls in a china shop.

Make sure to re-open your in-game support ticket. Do not be rude, but be firm that you do not accept their response and the issue is not resolved. Keep updating this thread. We have to make ourselves heard until they decide to respond AND fix it.

So why is mine still bugged? And why did I never receive a replacement cache?
Either I opened before the time you mentioned and should receive a new cache in the mail (I didn’t), or the one I opened shouldn’t be bugged at all (it is).

It’s called wording.

Affected players have received an in-game mail with the cache replacement.

Have, past tense, meaning it’s already been done. For those of us who have not received a cache replacement, this is not correct. While I agree with you that these things can take time, Community Managers should be cautious in their wording to not give false representations of when something has occurred, or else they may come across as lying.

It was correct at the time of posting.

Kaivax does not own a crystal ball.

It wasn’t until AFTER the fix went out, that people discovered there was an issue.

…and for some reason, people are still continuing to post “me too” in this thread, instead of posting it in the bug report forum where QA can actually see it.
