is this still happening or has it primarily been fixed? are the curios people talking about from before the hotfix, or after/‘currently’?
I have also had the issue of opening the cache of awakened treasures from the weekly time walking. I received one forbidden flounder and no gear. It was hot fixed, but no in game mail, nothing in bags when I logged in. I contacted customer support and got the same response as many of you, we don’t deal with loot, repeat the activity. So I reopened the ticket and sent an in-game screenshot and said that the answer supplied was unsatisfactory. This is a guaranteed piece of gear, not a forbidden flounder or I wouldn’t have wasted my time running 5 dungeons for it. This happened my warrior, Ceowyln -Nordrassil if any GM’s are actually reading and fixing these.
My character has not received a replacement cache via in-game mail. I completed my quest on the day of reset Tuesday. I received a 441 flame warped curio.
A minority of players got the correct loot. A whole lot of world content players got screwed out of 480-502 loot plus there was a bug in all that loot those players did get in the first two days didn’t work in the catalyst and it should have.
Hello, GMS are closing tickets about the 441 Curio caches stating that they do not do replacements for undesirable loot from containers however it is currently impossible to even use the 441 curio to purchase transmog since the items require a curio with a different ID, the result is that players who obtained a 441 Flame-Warped Curio from their Timewalking Cache actually ended up worse off than the ones who received low ilvl items even if we weren’t the only ones being ignored during the fix that went out. The item trades for nothing and turns into nothing, it’s bag jewelry.
Incredibly disappointing to get a “lucky” roll on a chest just to repeatedly get refused support for an obvious bug.
Ok so I opened mine the next day because thought this was fixed. I got a forbidden flounder in my cache… that is season 2 FOOD. After waiting so long for my ticket to be resolved I was informed that they couldn’t do anything. Can I get any kind of resolution for this please?

They aren’t going to replace the curio. I’m my opinion it should have been all or none. They fixed some people’s issues but not everyone and that’s just not right. The following is a partial response from my GM ticket.
It was also possible when opening these caches that you could receive a 441 Flame-Warped Curio from your Timewalking cache. We can confirm this is not an issue under any further investigation and no exchange will be possible for this item. We definitely understand this is less than ideal and we are very sorry you ended up with this token which has no use in the new season<
Must be bugged, all the new gear I have is for a Fire mage than Frost mage, my Fury Warrior alts gear drops was for SMF spec even tho I 2hndr dual weild, and i just love all the Blood Dk gear that has dropped for my Frost DK. Whatever “tuning” they did to the game in this new season is bugged

It makes me wonder if customer service has been outsourced and there is just a severe lack of communication.
I do CS for a video game project on the side, for extra spending money. The communication from The Devs, to senior CS, to outsourced CS (me) is pretty nonexistent. They have a script they have to stick to, or they get docked QA points which could cost them their already low-paying jobs.
For a game we pay to access every month, the Customer Service should be much better.
I recieved a 441 Flame-warped curio. I don’t believe this was on the intended loot list. I opened my bag after 2:30. I have not recieved any cache with the appropriate loot.
Even the flounder has some value, it can be vendored, or auctioned or used for an achievement. Getting a 441 flame warped curio is litereally worthless. Fixing the issue of unintended loot for some people but not for everyone shows a lack of respect for the players. This isn’t about complaining it was a piece of gear that wasn’t BIS. It’s the fact the quest was intended to award 493+ gear, and when it didn’t, some people had the issue corrected and the rest were told ‘sorry you got an item that was less than ideal’
My advice, open a ticket, when they close it with 'sorry it was less than ideal, open it again and ask to escalate it. Don’t just roll over and let them shaft you.
What do we do if we are part of the player base affected but didn’t get a new cache? :)))) Because messaging back and forth on a ticket with a “too bad, so sad” response is not fixing the issue for us. Just give us new caches for those affected. You’ve missed a lot of people, clearly

That’s great and all but I never got a new cache. I ended up with a 441 Curio that is absolutely useless to me. Reported a bug in game and submitted a ticket and zilch.
I don’t like being lied to by a cache that says it will have 493 armor, and then immediately lied to by a dev who says I’ll get mailed a replacement. And then customer service is like “I know that’s useless but you were supposed to get it, we have already dropped it so you should too.” Like obviously someone decided too many dev hours were going into it but man does it look lazy and incompetent.
