Getting mad Incendius vibes from bene
2.0 maybe
I play horde benediction and it doesnât even seem like a 60-40 alliance server.
Horde can and still win halaa during prime time as well as spirit towers, etc.
OP is legit crying over nothing. I came from Herod bc I didnât like being on the dominant faction. I can find wpvp on demand literally whenever I want it.
I think you have a well reasoned point about population Balance, Mootwo. I think, unfortunately, people have other priorities. This was something I and others tried to bring up about the same faction battlegrounds (and I know you do not approve of that for your own reasons) that this would cause more Alliance to reroll Horde.
And really, well, on Incendius we had one notable very hardcore guild reroll Horde during Prepatch (EDIT: it was for PvE reasons, the above mention was just that there are now very positive PvP reasons as well), and perhaps more that I did not hear about as well as individuals. You already know there are not that many Alliance on Incendius (and less Horde for that matter), especially now as more guilds transfer and bleed, but whatâs on everyoneâs mind is not faction balance - itâs about having a server where the LFG channel isnât silent. Where you can recruit for raids. Where the capitals donât feel empty. After the last batch of transfers items are selling painfully slow. I donât even know that I want to farm items I donât personally use anymore. Pretty soon it feels like I wonât be able to unload them.
Alliance on Incendius already donât have faction balance with Horde. They havenât for a year. Whatâs making them xfer is the desire for Alliance pop, and Benediction has that - more than 3x as many Alliance players than Earthfury according to ironforge.pro! (And 6x+ than Incendius) You yourself have almost 4x the pop of Alliance Incendius as an Earthfury Horde. It would be great, just fantastic if Blizzard would connect Incendius and Earthfury to make your server close to 50/50. Theyâre not doing it, or at least not fast enough. Iâm not xferring, not yet anyway, but I expect Incendius to drop below 1000 on ironforge.pro soon, and Benediction is going to go to toast with it.
EDIT: And just to compare, would anyone ever recommend rolling Alliance on Mankrik? Itâs a PvE server. You wonât get camped. And yet people recommend Pagel, so Mankrikâs Alliance pop is small. Roughly the same size as Incendius as a whole server. Ouch.
Alliance could simply transferred to Heartseeker or other âpvp(e)â server that already had majority of alliances, but then they decided to transfer to the server that was actually closer to âbalancedâ.
Hes not even playing the game anymore, and some of his friends left for Pagle (another ruined realm)
They are literally just transferring to the highest pop concentration because it costs them real money and a three month wait to do it again. To them, they see Benediction as a place that has the âleast chance to dieâ (and waste their money). You may argue that this is stupid reasoning, and that these are PvP servers and arenât they coming for World PvP? No probably not, and yes Benediction may get as trashed as Incendius did, but theyâre coming to raid and use the AH and find groups and incidentally it involves stepping on the Horde there as a novelty.
Free transfers from these realms that are transferring/dying to another realm that has good pop and needs balance, ex: Whitemane, Faerlina, Earthfury, etc. or even a server merge would solve a lot of problems. I wish Blizzard would do so while thereâs still time, but I donât see it happening right now and pretty soon my serverâs going to be a ghost town.
I donât think Pagelâs ruined? Itâs always been high Alliance due to the name. Same with Mankrik and high Horde? Theyâre PvE servers anyway. Which, by the way are terrible ideas if you like to play battlegrounds because you canât find likeminded friends anywhere.
EDIT: Also Iâm curious, what realm are you hoping they open free transfers to? Every server with a pop size that youâre used to is Horde dominant.
âjustâ. They are just ruining the realm that actually had some sort of ballance. Now they have 3000+ advantage on horde (which is highest than the population of several realms).
that is the whole principle of paid server transfer.
I will definitely argue.
If you are playing TBC for World PvP youâre wrong.
Heartseeker couldâve provide the same and lets just put this way, all the alliance that went to Benediction went to Heartseeker, the realm wouldâve almost the same population as benediction prior to the mass transfers.
There were horde there before, till some people decided it was their new home and started moving there. Heavily.
Mankrik had a considerate alliance population prior to recent transfers.
PvE realms and PvP realms have only one difference: people canât gank you if you donât flag yourself to PvP. You can easily find people to do battlegrounds with you, what you wonât find is World PvP, which by the way, was a Vanilla thing.
Other than this, you will find people in those realms doing arena and BG as theyâve done since the time water was wet and wind was blowing.
Whatever realm which we can form a new horde population that isnât alliance dominated.
But I am giving up hope for now, I donât think they will open server transfers unless with P2 arrival we get a huge stream of players coming back / starting.
We will likely use paid transfer and move to another realm, consolidating PvEdiction alliance server.
Atm itâs not. Incendius has about 5 large guilds all moving there atm in the next week or two. Why they chose Benediction idk. Itâs just gonna create another server with no Horde and then the cycle continues to the next server to ruin.
Oh, just for a comparison:
Benediction was about 56,6% alliance (6689) x 43,4% Horde (5120) about 2 weeks ago.
Now it is 8549 (60,5% alliance) x 39,5% (5573) horde.
If there is indeed 5 large guilds moving there, I bet alliance will reach over 11k which will put 2:1 for alliance, reaching almost 70%, the next Netherwind.
If I had to guess the population of said guilds and any random people following them, probably 100-150. Bene will probably be 65% alliance in the next 2weeks.
What guilds?
As horde on benediction Iâm not looking forward to the server queues due to mass alliance transfers. This was one of the primary reasons horde left Incendius from what I recall and blizz opened free transfers off the server for horde which killed it.
We already leapfrogged Whitemane as the highest populated server in a few week span when the population was about 45/55.
If it gets to the point of having to wait in a one hour queue during prime time then several bene natives that donât have the 3 month probation will likely transfer.
itâs no different than herod was. We were 60/40 then ally split. Theyâre just doing what a lot of others did.
But free? Kekw, no. Pay for that crap yourself.
So what is really the entire purpose of the original post? All PVP realms trended this direction in classic, and itâs absolutely no surprise that as meta gaming an old easy game has reached itâs peak in tbc that the galvanization continues.
People donât want to be bothered with world pvp. They want every advantage in game possible, and will do whatever it takes to get to that point.
Thinking that Blizzard is going to allow free horde transfers off is just dumb. Horde mass transfers have ruined a ton of pvp realms prior to this event, the fact that itâs happening on the other side is entirely expected.
Further, Blizzard is rolling in the transfer money. Iâm actually incredibly surprised that they still have the 90 day rule in effect, as they couldnât possibly care less about server integrity. That was apparent from the moment classic launched.
Your an idiot horde is thriving on benediction
Nah. I love the thought of seeing the Stalagg rejects getting farmed into oblivion.

You missed the point. No one pays real money and a three month CD in the hopes that everyone else on the server will do the same. Blizzard could have merged several servers, but absent that itâs obvious that people are going to choose Benediction over Heartseeker when there is soon to be 4x the pop to play with there.
Isnât this just a fancy way of saying youâre going to tilt a new server Horde heavy?
Herod split at 20% if you donât think so you need eyes.
No they split around 40%. You can literally go watch it happen on ironforge site.
No they didnt you can literally see on it happen on ironforge yourself.
Herod was 33/67 coming into TBC. so if they split at 40% Ally population wouldnt even exist coming into TBC.
Not to mention I played on Herod and still do. The server split at 20% coming into TBC it was super unbalanced but people it was slowly going away no split at 40%. It lasted two months at 33%.
No, you missed the point.
Apparently you missed the point again.
It was a COORDINATED MOVE to Benediction where all those guilds discussed.
It is not like 3000 players woke up today and oh Iâm gonna randomly move to Benection, and found their guild mates and friends there.
Never happened in the history, only a delusional person could still hope it wouldâve happened.
Yeah, it is obvious that people wouldâve chosen to ruin a realm instead of going to another realm already ruined. Makes totally sense.
Isnât this just a fancy way of saying youâre going to tilt a new server Alliance heavy?
