You went a bit too far with the extrapolation there. Blizz simply said that we’ll be able to purchase stuff from a vendor, but you’re the one who took that to mean that literally everything would be buyable.

It should never have been removed to begin with. Doing it just excised a chunk of story from a game where it ostensibly matters, and made anything following it that much harder to actually learn about, consequently that much harder for people who missed out or who weren’t fully cognizant enough human beings at the time to actually use a computer to get invested in.
It was just a bad, stupid decision all around.

It’s nice to get a cloak to open up Ordos, (I played MOP but endgame was too much for me). Bummed they couldn’t bring the Wrathion questline back, no rewards/titles, obviously. I really would have liked to do that chain. It was just not something I could manage at the time.

Plenty of people ask for and would be happy with recolors, and there’s nothing to indicate that blizz would make newly released recolors only available to people with the originals.
