OOOF! Blizzard clarified on MoP Remix, NO legendary quest chain/challenge mode sets

As someone posted on twitter: “I farmed all the sets for every single class in the game and I’m especially happy for all the people who I sold these sets to that afked at the entrance of every dungeon. Their prestige should be protected”

Which made me laugh.

Stop saying players and generalizing. I never played it and i dont enjoy the panda theme. Doesnt fit into WoW. Dragons is one thing, but not pandas.

I would have rather gone back to shadowlands.

‘I didn’t like it, so you’re wrong and you need to stop generalizing’

Whew lad.

Panda theme bad. Doesnt fit WoW lore. Periodt.

And how does it not fit?

WoW is rugged and had darker themes and undertones. I would argue even dragonflight is pushing the envelope but the dragons make up for it which is cannon. Albeit cartoony…

Nothing about pandas in lore and nothing about the cartoony kungfupanda vibe embodies the Warcraft theme.

I would have rather gone to shadowlands, to the MAW.

So yes, stop generalizing.

This has got to be like low tier bait, right?

That or someone who didn’t do a deep read on panda lore. Either look ain’t good for you.

No legendary cape makes this garbage now.

Say you know literally nothing about Warcraft without saying you know literally nothing about Warcraft.

That is too bad, I got the cloak but missed most MoP rewards due to having a baby. I was hoping we could at least get recolored versions.

On the one hand I am glad that the appearances of the legendary capes are returning, yesterday I discovered it on wowhead and the legendary capes and their epic versions showed that they shared the same model with the new artifact cape.

On the other hand, it seems incredible to me that they have wasted a golden opportunity to bring the CM sets in another color, they have 2 recolors of each set in the database, or they could have done like the elite/mythic variants of DF, giving the set the Legion Class the complete version, adding the shoulder pads, helmet and waist that corresponds to them, the majority of comments that I see fully support that they would have brought recolors and not the originals, and it is logical, everyone would win, those who They had it in their time would still retain the exclusivity of having that specific color, and those of us who weren’t there could get the look with a new color.

I hope they really think about it better and end up adding it, because there are no reasons not to bring a CM recolor.

Yeah I’m taking a break from the forums. Too much real life stuff going on. Reading the OP’s complaint just makes me feel like this world is getting more and more idiotic with each passing day.

This event is for people who want to relive the fun parts of that expansion. I think it would be a reasonable estimation that is no more than half the current playerbase. It also seems to be designed for people who did competitive content back then. Those people are more likely to already have those rewards.

They could have saved this from starting with a PR misstep by taking into consideration that players have been asking for removed appearances and items to be brought back, items that were a big part of the expansion.

In any case, this event is designed for people who are nostalgic about MoP. Without that nostalgia, it really offers little to players who didn’t play that expansion.

GG. All the post max level story content is perma locked because muh exclusivity. For christs sake, if it matters that much just make the cloak toys the reward for doing the remixed lego cloak version. Or better yet just make the quest give great upgrades.

The questline is the only thing I’m a little sad isn’t coming back, but it’s a short event so it’s probably more due to the time constraint.

I think we will be ok without CM sets or the lego cloak.

They added in 3 tints of the shaman armor, as well as 32 reskinned mounts, and toys that let you have your cloak of choice on your back for 8 hours.

It’s not a Monkey Paw. Anyone who thought challenge modes was coming back was deluding themselves. Every single time challenge content is brought up, Blizzard says ‘this isn’t coming back’.

Meanwhile, the player base: shocked pikachu face.

Head to a bazaar in any zone to purchase everything from class transmogs, to Mists of Pandaria mounts, toys, and more. This allows players to purchase items that were previously unable to obtain or difficult to obtain as random drops by simply spending this new currency to add them to their account’s collection.
