Sometimes it looks better in recolors though. Like I didn’t do KSM season 1 or 2 of SL because I had 0 desire to get the mount. I did do season 3 because I liked it a lot in red, then season 4 for purple(still prefer red). I am fine not feeling pressure to push KSM in season 1.

I am the legit opposite. HATE the red 
. Almost didn’t want to get season 3 bc of it, but I’m a mount collector and like M+ so I did
But honestly, I’m more upset it doesn’t fly, and I don’t think that’s gonna change.
The blue I’m not upset about. I like it. If they make it obsidian, or brown then ima really be upset cuz that’ll just be ugly
Overall I just want a new one. This one just isn’t worthy of being a ksm achievement

Yeah, any mount that doesn’t fly = dead to me. I never use a non flying mount.
I like the way it looks, to me it looks amazing, however it being a ground mount is kind of a kick in the face. The raid reward is a dragonriding customization, the PvP reward is a dragonriding customization, and yet the mythic plus reward is a ground mount.
To go further, you cannot fly in the raid, get flying mount. You can fly in open world pvp, but not in any content that gets you the rating for the mount, get flying mount. You CAN fly (albeit in a single dungeon) in mythic plus, get ground mount. M+ reward should be a flying dragonriding customization.

I would honestly be 50% happier if they slapped some icy, thorny wings on and called it a dragon
Although I’m really just hoping this mount is kept for a vendor, and they redo the ksm mount completely.

I mean, it’s definitely a different strokes for different folks. I think it’s a bit of a cool basilisk beast…but I do think it’s a bummer that it doesn’t get to benefit from the dragonflying mechanic.

I thought only the dragon thats customizable is the only mount in game that has the dragon flying mechanic? Everything else has normal flying. And since dragonflying is superior to normal flying outside the whole afk and tab out in flight appeal why would you want a bland flying mount that you wont use all expansion except to afk in?
Apparently the PvP reward is a dragon with the dragonflight mechanic and the Mythic raiding one is speculated to be a protodrake that also has the mechanic.
I can’t recall if the PvP one is just a customization option or not tho…I think I remember reading that it was? Idk tho

So the most difficult end-game content seems to have the best mount rewards. This makes sense to me.
My point is beta is beta regardless: You can say blizzard changed the mount for 500 because people spoke up OR you can say it was a place holder and was going to be changed.
I understand the point of ‘wanting people to speak up’ but in the end if this is the mount or if it is just a beta place holder it has and is decided. Blizzard has proven since activision took over they do not and will not listen to our angry, concerns, suggestions, or changes we want (unless it involves massive amount of dollars lost)
So all you, I or anyone can do is relax don’t get worked up or even upset with it because it will be what it is and all we can do is wait to see if this is as said a beta place holder, or the real deal: but regardless of which it is won’t change because we want it to.
They’re technically a “full appearance” customization for the appropriate dragonriding mount, currently the Highland Drake and the Renewed Protodrake. I’m hoping the other two get some sort of full customization option later, because I really like the Cliffside Wylderdrake.

Yeah I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just stick with the pattern they’re already establishing if those other dataminings were correct. Just throw M+ a customization as well imo

Yeah, so that mount looks like crap. Terrible effort considering that I was looking forward to it too. May as well have just given the murloc one that I linked earlier.
