Killed Ony with 17 guildies no problem.
Decided to make a pug with 24 and got absolutely crushed on both pulls. Ony is not pug friendly and needs to be made easier. The constant add spawning at the end and fire damage during air phase is too high. You cant bring randoms like in classic and beat the boss.
World bosses have way too much hp and need to be nerfed.

Go play mythic retail if you want hard. This is SOD. It should be easy for everyone. Start your own pug without checking logs and you will understand.

putting aside that ony isnât even actually hard, as you said in OP you cleared âno problemâ with fewer than what itâs scaled for - not all content is for every player, and if you canât dodge deep breath and spread for fireballs, I have bad news
Yes, but now youâre not bringing the pug player base because they canât do 1-2 simple mechanics. How is that fair to new players? Most people who play wow learn by doing it for the first time and if we now need to stop taking new people or people who struggle. We banish them from the raid.

19 manned Ony as a guild last night with a handful of newcomers, grey parsers, and people that were generally clueless. All they needed was an attempt or two and some guidance/instruction. Phase 3 we offtank the adds and burn the boss 
It sounds like youâre basically asking to be able to just /invite whoever, accumulate ~19 other bodies, and just walk in and kill the boss for free. Thatâs not fun. Thatâs not challenging. People should have to⌠idk⌠try, and apply themselves, to down an endgame raid boss for endgame loot. Isnât that the whole point of the game? To conquer/overcome a challenge? God forbid people actually pay attention and put in some sort of effort.
if you want LFR, go to retail thatâs what you want. a kind of tourist mode where you can watch your 8 children and churn butter while you raid WoW but still succeed. thatâs not classic.
Ony isnt end game. Its the starting boss. It should be easy with anyone. Make a full pug and i guarantee you that you wouldnât clear. Post the logs and prove me wrong. No guildies allowed. All of you disagreeing wont start a fresh pug without checking logs and no guildies. Easy to sit here and say âits easy contentâ of course it is with guildies and good players. Duh. 60 is endgame. Ony is a lvl 60 raid. Itâs endgame. Just cause itâs in the âfirst phaseâ of level 60 content, itâs not endgame? What, is Naxx only endgame cause itâs the last content that got released? Câmon man.
Why âshould it be easy with anyoneâ? You arenât entitled to loot. You should have to work for your gear, it should not be handed to you for free. Pugs go do Ony constantly on my server. Itâs not as impossible as youâre making it out to be. If you canât organize the pug and lead them, join a guild or another pug that has a leader that can.
You have options, but the only option you want is âlet me kill the boss effortlessly for free and give me my purplesâ.
Make the pug, no guildies and no checking logs. Easy to talk the talk. But can you walk the walk. If youâre so good. Take anyone who asks for a invite. 3-4 healers, 2 tanks, and the rest DPS.
