Only two races in lore identify as paladin

Make us happy and give us both.

That’s like saying Order and Chaos are “the exact same” which is… no.

Comparing “makes the eyes glow golden” to “multiplies the eyes, also tentacles” is completely disingenuous. The worst of the “Light,” the Scarlet Crusade, was ultimately being subverted from within by demonic forces.

The Light primarily exists as a force whose reverence is 90% passive. Worship of the light has existed within the kingdoms of humanity for ages. The Draenei didn’t spend infinity years waging war, just trying to find a place to exist in peace. The Scarlet Crusade only arose because of a zombie apocalypse - a reaction. Even the Draenei of WoD were, in the end, reacting to the genocidal machinations of the Iron Horde, one that didn’t even need demonic influence to indulge in such evil.

Meanwhile, every last instance of the Void has been wholly subversive, destructive, and pathological. Even when it isn’t, that’s because those using those powers are explicitly doing their damnest to head those aspects of it off. The Void is fundamentally a force that exists to cause destruction, suffering, and madness. The Light? … other than a few twisted nihilistic examples, is everything the Void is not.

I assume it will be questing gear, honestly. Datamining is rather inaccurate and I don’t believe we’ve been to Ardenweald in the Alpha yet.

Yeah, you definitely do. But hey, I guess we all choose which hill we wish to die on, and yours is the contrarian one.

Yes but as I stated the void and light swap places alot.

We haven’t. All we have is the Ardenweald dungeon, in regards to that area being open.

SL please deliver me from hell I wanna stick myself in a tree again.

Tell me again how the void and light arent the same. Tell me how a narru a creature of pure light can swap to the void.

That’s akin to arguing priests should be able to wear plate because Anduin does. Major characters, to include raid bosses aren’t bound by the players choices.

I wanna plant myself right at the top of that giant world-tree lookin’ thing. You bet I’m taking a ton of screenies of that.

Huh… it’s not that simple.

Not really since anduin was trained as a priest and a hunter. He also has clearly been trained with a sword. It’s not comparing the a mutli class person to a single raid boss who has a single class.

They swap places because they’re opposing forces. The Light is order while the Void is chaos.

Two sides of the same coin maybe, but not identical forces.

A theoretical Void Knight would not be able to do the same things that a Paladin can. Void magic simply doesn’t work the same ways that Holy magic does. They’re polar opposites to each other.

Ok if you say so.

I’m belly laughing.

Okay, I’m done.

You’re not getting Man’ari and Ren’dorei paladins, kbye

Shadowmend heals the void can heal. Sorry I dont see a fundamental difference in what the food can do and the light can do.

By being horribly corrupted, and they don’t generally swap back.

It’s not a switch, and the Naaru are the only creatures that do this.

Except. While your right. That being right also causes my issues. They aren’t the same. They’re mirror opposites…All of the paladins have a theme. It’s a holy class. All of them still have faith in higher, divine powers and conviction in their righteousness.

People who use the void or the fel…They don’t have this. What they have is a constant struggle for power. Bend the power to your will or be consumed by it. You can’t lay on hands with the power of fel. You can’t soothe with void.

Shadowmend doesn’t heal. Not really. The void gives temporary aid and then hurts not the healer, but the healed, after. It’s a Faustian bargain.

No guys, maybe dude is right and literally everyone but him is wrong. Maybe Night IS Day, and plants dying without light is just because they’re stupid and fail to understand that Night and Day are literally the same exact thing.

Bye you clearly don’t know the lore of anduin then. 19 years of lore wasted on you it seems.

Naaru don’t ‘flip’ so easily.
Significant damage is what’s needed to send them spiraling down.
