Doesnt change the facts.
The light does evil things and the void does evil things. Both have the ability to do good things depending on who wields it.

Hey now. Rude.
Donât hate on the tentacles.
My issue is that there is a big difference between a knight that uses some kind of holy magic and has a different title still fitting under that banner of Paladin
and
This demon tainted unholy warrior also fitting under the banner of Paladin.
I mean, if anything shouldnât void and fel empowered knights fall more under the death knight banner as more âŚanti paladins. Cause thatâs what death knights are/were.
Tentacles do bad things to my race.
screeching in Darnassian
Kill Delas Moonfang. Burn her with fire. Abomination! Heretic!
I identify as a pepperoni pizza.
Oh man if she sets you off, donât ever ask me about nelf shamans.
I kinda want those to be a thing.
That actually makes sense, considering we literally worship the Wild Gods as lesser deities beneath Elune and have such close ties to the natural world.
Delas âI will forsake Elune for TeH lIGhTâ Moonfang needs to die.
Do you think we can gently beg at Blizzard until it happens?
Except undeath is the enemy of all. So no void elf death knights make less sense just as lightforged death knights make less sense.
Iâll beg with you if we get shaman armor that doesnât look like zugzug.
Iâm wearing some!
I donât fail to understand, I think you do. Just because they would use the void or fel over the light wouldnt change the fact that they would still fight for the same thing and use the same style of fighting.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet
AKA, Draenei are paladins, they just have their own word for it. there is no difference beyond that. The others atleast all have fundemental differences.
Imagine a kaldorei shaman in the new Ardenweald set. Not the old chitin, the new one that actually looks good.
Iâm not saying that they should be death knight.
Iâm conceptualizing again. Like you did above. But instead of having things like fel and void fall under the paladin class. To me, the much more reasonable class would be the DK class because itâs literally the antithesis of traditional paladinâŚism.
Like you said, just because it falls under the paladin class doesnât make it a trust âpalandinâ. Well, just because it falls under the DK class doesnât make it a âdeath knightâ by the same logic.
Wait, was the old one discarded?
I was actually looking forward to that one, as weird as it might sound. The pauldrons had some neat potential I wanted to experiment with.
Although not all Paladins came to be the same way the Humans learned about it and then later taught the Dwarves, they do all share a commonality in that they all use divine magic.
Even if Night Elf Paladins became more common, the Light of Elune might very well still be holy magic. At least, in part. We know surprisingly little about how Elune works.
That magic tends to not mix very well with the Void. Simply being near such energies can cause problems for void beings.
Most other races could learn to be Paladins. Once you can wield holy magic, you can teach it to your warriors like the Humans did.
Well, two sets have been datamined. One actually looks like it belongs with the other Night Fae covenant sets, and one is⌠the chitin. Which looks like 2007 quest gear to me, so I am not enthused.
Fair except death knights are a litch king thing sonits not exactly a fair comparison. Light and void are the two major roles we have. Weâve seen Naruu flip from light to void in a second. That is why I say it would work the exact same way.
