Because you said something stupid about dreanei being called paladins. when they arent called that. So the proper statement would have been the class should be called Vindicator.

I’ll say for my part I want “Vindicator, Prelate, etc. etc.” to read as character classes for certain races. I want racial identities to matter in this game. I know, it’s crazy.

But they’re paladins since by functionality, they’re the same thing - warriors empowered by the light who in turn serve it, helping to stomp out evil wherever it may rear its head.
If anything, they’re truer paladins than humans ever will be BECAUSE they have had the light as a core tenet or something akin to in their culture for so VERY long.

The main forces of the universe are (for the most part) neither good nor evil, it’s only what the user does that truly decides.
Except void. Void is just really not there.
I think the OP fails to understand that while the theme of Paladin is different for those races, the central identity of the class is still there. Sunwalkers are still connected to the “Light” because guess what the Sun provides? Prelates, again, were followers of a Loa whose sphere of influence was Light based. Blood Elves and Draenei get their powers from the Naaru, a race of living, sentient energy beings made up of shards of fractured Light.
The theme is still present, and you’re not getting “void knights”. Best you can hope for is some Night Elf paladins since the lore for them was introduced in Legion, but it wont have a “Night Elf/Elune” moon theme because the Night Elf paladins that exist are specifically Silver Hand Paladins.
