Only two races in lore identify as paladin

I prefer Derpadin.

Off topic. One of these days, you have got to sit me down and explain the whole “High Gnome” thing. I want to know more!!!

Fel paladins already exist sorry you dont remeber the fel paladin raid boss.

There’s already a lot of support for this in my mega thread on the subject so more and more support will come through the coming years. And you’re right OP isn’t getting the void Elf paladins he’s trying to get by advocating other ones.

You’re not getting Man’ari paladins. We have enough lore abominations already, this is just far overboard.

People keep making these types of posts but the bottom line is that there is a type of class here that isn’t being represented.

We have a plate-wearer that specializes in death magic.

We do not have a plate-wearer that specializes in void magic. There’s open design space to create something there. I’m not specifically saying what that would look like - simply that there’s room for it to be unique and interesting.

We’ve seen a lot in-game that isn’t canon.

Paladins wield the light. That is literally what the lore says. Just because Blizzard used a pally template for an npc means nothing.

Do you seem that many red-skinned dreanei players in the game? Pretty sure those are called eredar, are a completely different race, and don’t exist and player characters. Did it come with a preorder or something??

Also pretty sure i haven’t seen any “Fel Paladins” running around, so in that regard it’s still class that doesn’t exist.

What you call “lore abominations” I call story progression. The lore isnt going to stay the way you want it.

Technically you could say the word “paladin” and even prelate don’t exist either.

Blizzard has the creative freedom to go hard into worldbuilding and construct genuine languages beyond the Common and Orcish tongues as well as other random languages in the game and actually formulate them into genuine languages instead.

Priest, Druid, Warrior or whatever its all the same. They’re terms for us to use.

It depends on how far Blizzard wants to creatively express the fantasy universe they create. They choose not to.

Dwarves and Humans speak common, but right now its a type of jibberish code thing and there is consistency actually there, but Blizz could easily decide to go even further hiring a linguist to construct a fictional language completely.

Eredar and dreanei are the same race.

Eredar are playable.
They’re called Draenei.

You mean Man’ari.

Lore abominations like void elf paladins are literally undoable.

Sorry. Not happening.

What boss was this?

Yep. Man’ari and Draenei are 2 different factions of Eredar.

Eredar are playable via Draenei. Man’ari are not playable.

Tyrant Velhari.

It’s also a one-off case like Sir Zeliek, clearly this has caused people to unduly believe Man’ari paladins for the Alliance are going to be a thing.

One of the bosses from Hellfire in WoD.
Mind you, she was a mockery of a paladin, showing just how far those who turn to fel fall. So she’s not a true example of a supposed ‘fel’ paladin.

It’s probably one of those things like Sir Zeliek, the death knight that can technically still wield the light. People use him as an argument for undead paladins too.
